Clinton signed it into law on December 8, 1993; the agreement went into effect on January 1, 1994.[7][8] Clinton, while signing the NAFTA bill, stated that "NAFTA means jobs. American jobs, and good-paying American jobs. If I didn't believe that, I wouldn't support this agreement."[9]. just thought that i would give you the exact time of when and who signed the bill. plus, a direct quote from old slick willy himself. bo

New Nitro Z21 To Be Unveiled At Classic
merc1997 Bo replied to Alex Heitman's topic in Table Rock Lake
looks a whole lot similar to a 521 ranger. wonder is that is why it is named a z21? bo -
that would be great if it was a jig bite because skeet reese is loaded with NuTech Elites. bo
-
how about raising some bass and crappie and stocking them in table rock?? bo

that did change in an amendment in 2010. the irs auditor sent me the link. plus, he came down in person to visit with my cpa, and came on down here to visit with me. there are other types of businesses that got hit by this taxing change. it used to be that you paid 10% on your cost of goods, but that is not the case with the current law. so, they are actually taxing labor too. what i am in the process of doing, is to start a second company that will be the manufacturing company, and nutech will become just a distributor and not a manufacture. that will be the best way to pay the least possible amount of excise tax. nothing like trying to manufacture products here in this country so there are jobs. bo

perhaps i should give mike rice the irs auditor your number so he can explain it to you first hand. i am just relating what i got straight from the horses mouth, the irs auditor. bo

my cpa has the irs letter with the tax bill number that was passed in 2010 that changed how excise tax is applied to lure manufactures and that it goes to obamacare. wish i could recall the exact link so you can read it for yourself. bo

i was always taught that charity starts at home. if we are not producing and people here working, how is it that we can continue to have the ability to help those outside this country, let alone those that live here and need help? bo

i know exactly where you can buy jigs, spinner baits, and bladed jigs that are made in the USA. just launched a series with a Trokar hook, and that means even the components are 100% USA produced. you are exactly right. when are manufactures going to figure out, that when there are no jobs here and not anyone working, who is going to have money to buy there cheap products????? our government is also a problem with manufactures going overseas. my small company got audited by the irs. the new federal excise tax laws passed to fund obamacare say that 10% excise tax is to be paid on what we are selling the product for. that is taxing labor, and when we raise to accomodate the tax, which is passed onto the consumer, they get 10% of what we raised the price. the irs guy admitted that many small companies are shutting their doors, or figure out how to take manufacturing out of the country. everyone needs to be rgith down our congress reps and senators throats. bo

that is great. that was a great life lesson about how hard work pays off. you also had a very good day of catching too. bo

all pretty much right on the spot. the split rings in the old original ones that i still use were causing most of the problem because they are too big for the hook hanger hole. thinner split rings cures that issue. replace the split ring tie on with a snap. as stated, braid works great. one other tip is to learn to start with a high rod angle at the beginning of the cast, and it can be lowered as the bait get closer to the boat. one of my retired buddies at emerald beach is deadly with the thing. bo

very good job! bill seems to have the jb bite figured out. catch them anyway you can. bo

to answer your question, it makes an average fisherman a lot better bass catcher. those average bassers that like to keep bass to eat, in the past, would on a good day have three "keepers", not big bass. those same bassers with the a-rig, now become a much better big bass catcher, and they are now taking home a limit of bigger bass. it does not take long, especially when we are trying to build a big bass population again, to deplete it. bo

well bill, the math says that jeff was not born until 1967. so, with that said, it would be a while into the 70's before he knew much. i have actually known jeff since he was a little kid, barely out of diapers. jeff, when he started getting out on the water on his own, would always track me down out on the water to see what was going on, or to tell me about what he was catching. do you happen to have known one of their guides by the name of harold hobbs? harold knew every pebble that was under the water on the upper end. harold also did repair work for ball and prier, and that is how i became friends with harold because he was in our parts store all the time. harold used to take me fishing some when he did not have a guide trip, and that is how i gained some of my knowledge on what is under the water on the upper end. you're so much like harold in so many ways bill. you share your knowledge and i can tell from the accounts of your trips, how much you enjoy those trips that include kids. bo

bill back in the 60's jeff was still in diapers, literally. dan langley picked up the technique from mike and i. bud gutherie and bill willis are the ones that i know of to be the first ones to come up with the holy rogue. for several years(70's) , they would win every big table rock spring tournament fishing the holy rogue. back then, your colors were limited to black chrome, blue chrome, and gold chrome. it did not take mike and long to start scraping and painting them. we also were weighting the long bills and those long bills are still very effective with the water temps we have right now. but, you sure can not argue with the great success you just had the other day with the shorter bill!! that was some darn good catching. bo

we still have not and may not ever reach the fish population pre fish kill. we have improved, but the a-rig is keeping the big bass numbers from increasing in my opinion. i do believe we have the food source available for our fish population to increase and be sustained. i still believe some stocking programs would really help. again, really glad to see the jerk bait bite picking up. it is time for a change of scenery fishing wise, if you know what i mean. bo

it is the smithwick roque, but you actually put a hole in it to fill it with water. you can sling it a mile into any wind, and i still fish it more often than any other jerk bait, but i have confidence in it, and just how deadly of a technique it is. you hang up a lot in timber, and have to go retrieve it, but it will also catch them when they are on the bottom. mike and i actually fished them side by side, which is way ahead of the A-rig. it was very effective have them twitching along right beside each other. bo

the tail down drop is what makes the "holy rogue" so deadly. i still fish it, and it will catch fish 20 feet deep on the bottom, if will just let it sink down there. you do have to go through a few short bill rogues, to find the ones with the right movement on the twitch. when you have staged bass suspended 20 to 25 feet down out off a point, the "holy roque" is quite hard to beat. back when mike sowders and i fished tournaments, we won several of the early march and april tournaments on the "holy rogue". with practice you can make it sit by a cedar almost indefinitely. back in 1979, we put together a tournament sack of 10 that weighed in at 52 and some change. there certainly some really nice jerk baits on the market now, but it is hard to pick one up and throw them when the "holy rogue" still produces for me. bill willis and bud guthrie from OK taught me about the "holy rogue" many years ago in 1977. that thing is just like plastic worms. the bass keep eating it every year. bo

there are a couple of friends that i have tournament fished with over the years that i love to fish with anytime, even when i need to just put the rods in the box and figure our what is going on. i have other friends that i have fun, fun fishing with. it is a special fishing trip anytime my wife wants to go. bo

hey, it is ok!! as i stated already, my mom still chews on my butt all the time. so, i am used to it. no big deal. chief stated his opinion and i am not mad about it. lets talk fishing, which might have to be reminiscing about it until the weekend and it warms up. bo

quill, we had about the same results today. i think 10 fish without a keeper among them. the wind did really make it hard to get the bait down before the boat was past them, or you were trying to fish with a big bag in the line, and that would lift the bait off the bottom resulting in no bites. bo
