  1. Steve. It's an open book with the 5 foot rise and solid current. Going tomorrow night. If I find anything I will let ya know.
  2. Alltell. Learn to fish after dark. Still a few mongols out there but 1 compared to 200 makes it nicer. Also it's cooler
  3. I wondered the exact same thing.
  4. Bill, are you vertically jigging the spoon over trees? or casting and sweeping it back? Just trying to learn the technique this one is new to me. Bought some last year but never really played with them.
  5. I caught more crappie this year from TR than I have in the last 3. Had a couple days where we caught dbl limits per person, of course only taking our limit. But yes I did take home my limit multiple times. I let this one go because I was bass fishing instead of crappie fishing and didn't feel like cleaning one fish. For me the fishing was great but I do most of my crappie fishing during February and early March. Once it gets nice enough for the crowds I let them have them.
  6. Have never found a braid I could see well. Just bought a spool of the new sten flourecesent florocarbon. Have tried it yet. See how it works friday.
  7. Hammer. I was around millcreek last night from 6 till 2am. It was rough. Ended the night with 4 keepers. 3 of which were good quality but only caught one short. 5 fish in 8 hrs.
  8. Been catching them on a football lately also but really hit and miss. It feels like pre-season
  9. DTRS. Your post is EXACTLY what I have been thinking for the last two years. I have been trying to find a better mouse trap for the deep suspenders but nothing yet with any success. I'm starting to lean towards the a-rig factor. Hate to say I have a lot of friends that show pics of 6 fish limits in the winter but take the pics in their driveway.
  10. Was in the same boat. Had 11.20. Really never got a topwater bite going though. Just needed the one bite like everyone else
  11. 12 lber. Wow
  12. Awesome. I'm learning this thing.
  13. Ok. Time to learn the new swing head. Got my order in from swing oil baits. Look awesome. Thinking of going out and only using it to keep myself from switching. Now. Weight and what are your favorite baits to drag with it?
  14. Nitro. Great job.
  15. Jaybird. Where was this at? I know a guy that lost one.
  16. Yes. Smallies like clear water.
  17. How stiff are the Cara's?
  18. Bought a lews this spring. Love it. Don't think they are better than curados but they just seem to fit me better.
  19. Have a couple more I was debating on selling. Would be little higher thou as I would like to replace them with lews. Anyone interested? Probably $100 each.
  20. Ok, possibly all three spoken for. Will repost if any falls throu. Thanks
  21. I have 3 Shimano Curado's for sale. All 3 are 6 months old. Work wonderful. Minor locker rashes, no other blemishes. Original brake shoes, oiled weekly. Done for the season, looking to upgrade. Two are 6.4 grear ratio. One is 5.4. Asking $85 shipped to your door, or $80 picked up in Branson West MO. First P.M.s get first choice.
  22. Lol champ. Redsox we must think the same.
