  1. I agree with Col Ron, Powerdive, and Ham.....And the late May and all of June will be right on I'd think.....Ham's caught more walleyes then me this year and he's bass fishing......lol......You just never know....If a walleye is hungry, and almost any lure goes by, that walleye is going to bite it...
  2. Sure wish I had the extra money.... Nice looking piece !
  3. I'll ask Ron Burgundy's question again.....Do any of the Lew's reels have a flippin' switch ? FS reels are great for certain kinds of walleye fishing.
  4. Ron Burgundy.....Would you tell that story / admit to even having one...? LOL.......One was also caught on an all pink baby cordell wally diver........With 9 colors of leadcore out.....I found the wally diver floating up at Stockton years earlier......We WERE DESPERATE !!
  5. I want to know where Bill is buying his chicken liver......Harter House's are always too mushy......lol Side note: Had a Dancin Eel with me to appall my partner in a walleye tournament at Bull Shoals.......It was Oct 5 or 6 years ago. We were having a tough day. Not one walleye in the boat and it was noon.....Desperately looking for something, I put out that dang eel and trolled it on leadcore. I actually caught one of our 3 keepers on the D. Eel.....We won that derby with those 3 fish.....LOL
  6. Donna, it's not "snoozing".......It's a POWER NAP.........lol.......Sounds like a good time was had by all.....Prior commitment kept me away......(Grandsons go-Kart races in Berryville)......Glad yall had a good get-together.....
  7. IMHO..........Climate Change = Climate natural cycles......Nothing much to do with humans. Possibly NOTHING to do with humans. Al sold lots of books though.....(like HE knows)..... And jdmidwest: It wasn't cows, it was Buffalo's........(hehe).....towtonka.........lol
  8. lol........It's true though.....Champ knows the pocket and the green fish......unless that's the green fishes evil twin........ (I DO know that pocket)
  9. Twitchy is an understatement......LOL......
  10. I too am very impressed with that post.....Nicely done sir bfishn ...!
  11. IMHO, You have to crank it down to it's diving depth, and watch it.....A sink isn't deep enough to tell anything.....
  12. You're not far enough up Fins ...
  13. I'll have to agree with you F & F.....I don't know about the James River Arm, but a true monster could come anywhere from Baxter clear on up to Houseman. I hear of 13's and 14's every year....I hope it's me, RPS, Bullit, or Powerdive that gets it......LOL....Or Hunter91........OK, my fevers up.......Gotta go start sorting tackle.
  14. I'm confused now.....lol (as usual)....I was told by Missouri Fish & Game a few years back that my white river border lakes permit did not work upstream from the Trophy Trout Area sign at Houseman access......I'm really not too worried about the hook requirements because I rarely go that far up, but is the sign still there at Houseman Access ? Do I still have to buy an Arkansas Lic to go upstream from Houseman to be legal ?
  15. I loved my old X 85's......That's a heckova deal on a good little unit.
