The wife and I are heading down Saturday am and staying Saturday night. Any ideas for an inexpensive place I can get a one night reservation? We don't need much, but I don't want to break the bank either.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any fishable/wadeable streams or creeks around St. Louis. I'm not looking for anything special, I just want to wade and throw spinning gear for bluegill, small bass etc. I fished one around Jeffco 15 years ago and had a blast, but I'm getting so old I can't remember where I went. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I am looking for a place to tent-camp for opening week, maybe Sunday night through Tuesday night 2-31----3-2 Does anyone have any suggestions for a place close to the park?
I got to watch a few of them at Lilley's last New Years Eve. They'd get a hold of a fish and then sit on the foam on the edges of the dock and eat them. They are noisy eaters. Didn't bother the fish though.
As far as guides go, Brett Rader from Charteredwaters has done well for the wife and I. There's a 30 incher on his fishing report from a week ago or so right now.
I would like to be involved in this project, but I cannot be there this Friday. Please let me know when you will be doing it again. I think it is a great cause.
If anyone's gonna be out on the water Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, I'd love to put some faces to names. I wouldn't mind learning a little something either. Lemme know. I'll be at Lilley's.
I'm going to be fishing either the Purvis Beach or Coffman areas this weekend for Crappie. Can anyone tell me what depths they're at and where they're being caught? I haven't had a lot of success this year, any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is the first time I've ever replied to anything on this site, but I've learned a ton from everyone on here. It seems that if we wouldn't judge each other, things would be a lot easier. Together, we have a great fishery, divided, the anti's have us right where they want us.
