Exactly. I haven't fished Capps for a couple of weeks, but I did pretty good fishing upstream from the lower access. Ollie has probably been there more recently.

Too bad about the big fish. Great report. For future reference, what is the low end weight of a lunker? If that makes any sense.

Sorry, but I don't think what you are seeing is a soft hackle. Look at it closely. The problem is your attitude toward the poster. Mdrstl put a valid question out there. Do you have a reasonable answer????? Or are you just stirring the pot?

Fish To/not To Focus On During Winter?

I mainly trout fish during the winter months, but have had some good days creek fishing for bass. Especially after several warm days. Jigs fished slow work, but there have been occasions when the bass have hammered a well placed spinnerbait or crankbait. -
I just like camo. The fish in it is just a bonus. Personally, I believe your shadow is your worst enemy on a stream.

No worries F and F the best fishing is below the park anyway. No charge either.

Basically it's a parking fee. In order to park within the park you have to pay $5.00 a carload or a yearly fee of $50.00. It has nothing to do with the trout, just the park itself. If you don't want to pay you can park across the road and enter at the new bridge. And yes it is a collection box located at the entry gate.
