    May be. But there is not one health reason for drinking them. Drinking diet pop will not cause weight loss.

    Soda pop Buffet's If you want to tax something to raise money, tax something the everyone uses. Like canned goods. How about a $.01 tax on that? You wouldn't even know it. Or maybe a $.25 tax on pop? I don't see a problem with that. Maybe it is time to start taxing churches? They seem to want to run this country. Maybe you need to pay to play.

    As water temps drop, so does the metabolism of warm water species of fish. And as temps drop and metabolism slows, so does the need for protien and thus less feeding. They may only eat once every week or two. So your chances of catching a bass in the winter drop drastically. Especially in rivers. It is not that they left. For the most part. I think fisherman migrate more than the fish do. Where we these fish migrating to before the lakes were built??? And like Al, I love the challenge and the solitude. It is just a really great, great time to be out.

    I guess these browines over this way don't know anything about this mass migration. Or any other species for that matter. Tactics are a little different but, fish are in the same areas for the most part.

    Do you have a link to the actual report and not some right-wing site?? How about whole areas? All of SWMO, NEO, SEK. Thousands are employed in this area due soley to casinos. No time for crime....everyone is busy working.

    Yep. It is the 47% that carries this country. Since I get a refund on my taxes, due to the government saying I over paid I am one of the 47% too according to Mitt. I bet if Mitt paid the same rate as I do, he would get a refund too. But he does the patriotic thing and hides it overseas.

    That whole bit on tying on that fly... Anyone that has fished with me has seen me do that!! LOL!!! Hell I got in a fight with the wind one day. Even took a few swings at it. I think Buzz was with me. Him and Dylan. Buzz tried to get Dylan to have me do something and Dylan said no way! LOL !!

    I routinely catch crappie in all but a few rivers around here. I just haven't caught any that big. Let alone a bunch of them. Congrats!
