  1. Why do you say he was liberal? It was a republican judge that overturned the california law baning gay marriage.
  2. Actually I was kinda poking fun at the thread with Gotmuddy and his big bass. Which like yours, was a big bass. Just, in my meaningless opinion, not as big as he thought. But before I uninate everyone off, I love that quote.
  3. Now boy's, that has to be the funniest thing I have ever seen on this forum! That is absolutely classic!!!!!! TF1985, I don't know about a Moutain Lion but, when I lived in KC and fished J.A. Reed a lot, I saw the absolute biggest Bobcat of my life. This sucker had to be in the 50lb range at least.
  4. I am afraid to click on the pic. It looks like the hat is the only thing your wearing. But from what I can tell, it is a nice fish. Now you are not going to claim it is a 9 pounder and you just make it look small are ya?
  5. WOW. WWJD? Some so called devout Christians aren't sounding very Christian like. You better fly the straight and narrow there eric. Looks like if you don't it may get violent. Not far removed from the Mid East. Like Criket, I think I shall back away. I certainally see no reason to force my beliefs or thoughts on any other human. And appearanlty you can't discuss them either if they are not in line with certain others.
  6. That is quite a statement. I personally respect everyones choice to be or not to be religious and their choice of religion. It is not for me to decide. But to say that someone's existence without religion is meaningless is pretty profound.
  7. Now that is some funny stuff right there. Especially since I like to hang out around Forest Mill. Report I got on the bear was at 59/60 and Owl Rd. Right in that curve.
  8. Funny how millions of bison lived with them over vast amounts of prairie just fine. Now the dogs are in isolated pockets on the high plains. The bison don't roam any more. Such is progress I guess. Cattle don't ever seem to break a leg running up and down a steep bank to the river but a hole in the short grass prairie they can't see? I say a great big B. S.!
  9. Yeah, I would blast the hell out them. How are they going identify that it is their dog anyway???? And what about the tresspass laws?????
  10. That is one thing I never understood about Coyote hunting. The pelt is worth less than the bullet it took to kill it. And I don't know of anyone that has ever eaten one. I watched some idiots on tv the other day shooting prairie dogs. Had some kind of super caliber rifles. Cut them plumb in half. Never even picked up the carcasses. Real sportsmen.
  11. My question is and has always been that before the new world was discovered and the bible and its teachings were spread, all of those in western hemisphere supposedly went to hell?
  12. It ain't just you. I understood them perfectly. And have for many years. Sounds like the judge likes to use his vehicle to chase deer to me.
  13. MMMMMMMMMMM, my gears are turning!!! I will be getting a hold of you. I am looking at September right now.
  14. You are on! How much lead time do you need??
  15. I am defininetly in harmony with the wild, and sin depends just on which "religion" you happen to believe. I happen to believe that I live pretty sin free. At least according to the morals I have established for my self which are in line with the how the American Indians lived their lives. So as far it looks to me, I am without sin and living in harmony with the wild.
  16. The study that they are using is from tournament fish that have beat to death in a livewell all day. Thrown in a bag and hoisted up and shook around a little for the crowd. So by a very long shot there is a just a bit of truth in this. But these fish are not your typical C&R as we practice it and as they are trying to sell it.
  17. Yeah it looks like we were posting at the same time. I usually put my waders away in March, depending on the weather of course, and I don't get them back out until November. And boy let me tell you, after this summer, I am freaking ready for November! But hey, the W man says we are going to cool down into the low 90's next week. Whooohooo!
  18. Yep know him well. He does quite a bit of fishing there from what I hear. I haven't talked to him in a while but, my step brother talks and fishes with him and I guess they do really good chasing Redhorse. I have heard of some real hogs coming out of there. Talking to him would be better than paying at the store to launch from the park. I think they still charge don't they??
  19. That area doens't get hit a whole lot. There is some really good catfishing there too. I have heard of 20lb+ flatheads coming out of that area. From the mill to Hwy 43 is on my float list this year. I just haven't made it yet.
  20. Way to go! Very nice fish!!!
  21. Certainly nothing wrong with that. Add my dad to that list. He will keep a handful for a fishfry, but 95+% are still swimming. His largest C&R jug fishing was a 65 pound flathead.
  22. Well, I tell ya what, you have an open invite with me anytime you want. I won't start fishing for them again until late November and through till early March. You just let me know when and I will take you to a spot or two.
  23. Hey wrench, I just wanted to say that even though I don't have any motor problems and hopefully never will have but, I am darn glad you are here and so freely offer assistance and advice. I can honestly say that if I do have problems, I will be making a trip north to let you work on it. And I hope others here will do the same and support one of our own.
  24. No doubt that is a big one. Did you let it go?
