  1. I guess I skipped that part. I guess I never figured there was that thick of a muscle there. Yeah, freaky!
  2. I'd say so! Id be interested in the age, the year and place banded.
  3. Where does skull bone disappear to?
  4. And we would still be owned by Her Majesty. But idiots, your term not mine, protested and thus the The United States of America was born. And the right to protest was given to EVERY American.
  5. Here is your back up Pedophilia and party over country and morals!
  6. I'll see your cheesy bow ties and raise you one creamy smoked Mac n Cheese with bacon and jalapeño
  7. I LIKE THAT!!! Thanks!!!!
  8. Conservation?
  9. The only thing that turns me off on brining is the texture of the meat. But I'm sure the more I mess with it, the more I'll change my mind.
  10. You got some chocolates? I notice they are in front of you and not her.
  11. How in the world would you enforce it?
  12. I was just funning with you. I've never had blackened salmon but I hear its the seasoning that actually makes it black.
  13. Really? There are reports posted all time that are well outside of the Ozarks and not a peep out of you. Al posts numerous times on his Montana trips. Marty has epic western trips every year that he posts. And I'm glad they do. I enjoy reading them. But because this is a carp post and it' en vogue right now to be anti-carp, you want to jump in? At least don't be so blantantly hypocritical about it.
  14. Don't cook it so long and turn the heat down a tad.
  15. Anything to do with the MDC should keep you busy for a while. There's a decades worth there. I will give you some credit too. You are a very good mechanic. And you said something there quite a while back that solidified that. To make it short and sweet it was about checking upstream of the problem. You also are a very accomplished fly tyer. You do some fascinating work there. Very inspiring! And you are a superb fly fisherman! So there are a few things that I will never try to take away from you.
  16. I'm sure you don't. Never could have a great conversation with you.
  17. I would also like to add, that since Al and Marty's names were dragged into this, that I enjoy and look forward to their contributions to a discussion. They, as well as others, always add value to a conversation as it will be based in fact and not some incoherent drivel. They also have the ability to learn from others knowledge and not consitantly argue anyone who does not stroke their ego even if they are an actual biologist or those with a biology degree that frequent this house. I enjoy good discussions with others. We used to have a lot of those here. I have learned and or formed a different opinion on subjects because of Al and Marty. I may still at times disagree with the finer points of a subject, but have always agreed on the main direction. Ahhh the good ol days.
  18. Years ago while I was still single, I bought a jar of Limburger. It had a pungent aroma about it but I didn't think it was overly strong. I thought it had a nice flavor to it. I guess I mean it wasn't anywhere near as bad as you hear. I'd eat another jar of it, but I haven't seen it for years.
  19. I'll never forget that day. He actually stopped me on a different section of Shoal when I was floating and apologized. We had a great conversation and shook hands.
  20. Just to be clear, I named nobody.
  21. Not just him. There is this another expert that comments numerous times per hour on every subject on every post on this board. There is a line in a Led Zepplin song that goes "I wonder how much there is to know?" I used to think that was a very deep thought. But now I know there is somebody that has accomplished the task.
  22. It is a tasty discussion. Deer heart is very tasty. Deer liver, though stronger than beef, is tasty.
  23. My current fav
  24. Cliff was the mailman.
  25. So in other words, the price of a good pulled pork sandwich. 😁
