I can not and will not produce facts that are not there. You continue to claim that you are posting facts but, you have not produced one FACT. And really, the personal attacks do not make your argument any stronger. But if you believe it helps, then by all means continue.

What is clear is that you need to do some research on the subject. It is very appearant that you know very little about the habits of Mt. Lion's. I would draw a picture for you but all I can make is stick kitty's.

You didn't post one that even remotely suggested that MO has an established resident pair, that being male and female, of breeding Mt. Lions. If that is what you want to proclaim, then you need provide some facts. And since I am not the one proclaiming exuberant accusations, I technically am not the one that needs to provide the facts. But since you have an obsession with charging others with producing facts, I can add that since 1994, when the first confirmed sighting occured, only one has been a female. That does not mean that some of the other sightings were not females. It means of the animals that the MDC was able to physically check, only one was a female. That makes if very difficult to state that there is an established resident pair. The life expectancy, I don't believe, is long enough to get established.

Sorry I haven't posted this sooner but, I have been pretty busy with all this snow. Just over 20" here. Anyway I was speaking on the phone with one of my contacts in the MDC the other day and of course one our subjects was the recent Mt. Lion incidents. The biologist are now at work changing the current regs for Mt. Lion's and getting them in line with the bear regs. That should make it much easier to prosecute and get a conviction. It was also stated that we need to send an email to Rob Ziehmer the MDC director. We need to make him aware of our dissatisfaction in the handling of these two matters. I would also stress a little professionalism when corresponding. Civil discussion will get us much further than some of the post I have seen lately.

I understand and agree with your frustration. I am not exactly thrilled this latest senseless killing either. I won't defend them in this instance but, I will in others. I only asked because I didn't see other bass baits like spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, or crankbaits. And I don't know personally any bass fisherman that fishes barbless. But, I understand they will all now come out of the wood work. But I counter by saying, I still don't know you personally. But to break down the choices offered, 1-3 are equipment and 4-6 are human. And with that, you will always have to pick human. Without human interaction, there would not be any way to harm the fish.
