  1. Nice report. Congrats! That's a heck of a fish!
  2. As Von was saying, a knifer is one that keeps a legal stringer of bass for human consumption.
  3. For the last year there has been a huge, massive, all out blitz on OAF to push the Ned onto fishermen under the guise of trying to help people catch more fish. As true as that may be, others believe the brutal flooding of bandwidth was for financial gain. I make no determination one way or the other and leave that to the reader. It was allegedly developed by a very humble unknown fisherman that wanted no exposure or fame or press. Some may or may not find that hard believe. Again that is for the reader to determine on both accounts. What I find interesting is that after months and months and hundreds and hundreds of post exclaiming the vast superiority of the Ned, the very posters that pushed the use of the Ned the hardest are now astounded and extremely angered by the fact that there was side affect to this little super catcher. The Knifer's! The demonic circle has been completed.
  4. Becsuse making trouble was much easier!
  5. In my world it can be and is both.
  6. Ah heck no. I thought the comedic irony was to good to pass up.
  7. I hear Joe is available.
  8. Those are some Cornish hen halfs that I found in the store. They were a little bit bigger than the frozen ones you find. I usually like to make my own dressings for pasta salad's, potato salads, mustard and German, and other assorted side items. In fact I've been on a broccoli cheddar pasta salad here lately. But at any rate, this particular pasta salad in the picture is one that I do not make a dressing for occasionally. If you are able to purchase a bottle of Ott's creamy Italian do so! That stuff is bad to the bone!! And I don't say that because it's made in my hometown. I say that because it really is the cats butt. My apologies Phil.
  9. Yes, it was delicious!
  10. I was just thinking the exact same thing. BTW I really dig Guy's BBQ chips!! They are the bomb! And made in KC!
  11. That is incorrect. I gave you a report about 2 years ago. Live as it happend. In fact we had some pretty indepth discussions on them over time.
  12. Well at any rate, it'll be me that gets blamed for bashing the Ned. ........Wait......was Ned even mentioned?.......
  13. I don't see eating from the garden or fish and wild game as poor. The fools that don't or won't eat that are the poor. I think those of us that do that are rich beyond comparison.
  14. I thought you bought a cabin on the river to stay at on weekends a few years ago?
  15. http://www.moga.mo.gov/mostatutes/stathtml/30400000131.html You can in fact. To hell with the environment! Let's play!
  16. Dang!!
  17. I quit putting water in years ago. I wrap the pan in foil for easier clean up.
  18. You caught me!
  19. I would to try some authentic pot stickers some day. I'm pretty positive those at the buffet don't begin to compare.
  20. If you achieve your desired results, who cares how you got there!
  21. I have to do this!! I AM DOING THIS!
  22. I like engineering design that went to it. The fire area is not small and cramped like other models. It has a fire grate that allows the ash to fall away from the fire. Both grills are porcelain coated which I really like. There is space enough to smoke many pounds of meat and sides. And the access door is larger than other makes on the market and the water pan is placed higher out of the way. Actually I think the door is placed lower to allow bettter access to the fire. It has 3 adjustable vents on the bottom and one on top. I didn't boil the temp gauge to check accuracy. But I don't use them anyway. I have a off-set smoker also. And I enjoy it. But I think the bullets better. Heat and smoke naturally rise up. Which is why I think bullets can be very successful. You have and can maintain better heat control and the heat is more evenly spread throughout the cooking chamber. With a stick burner, you are forcing the heat to travel horizontally from the firebox then through the cooking chamber. This causes many tempature differences from one end of the cooking chamber to the other. That can be a help or a hindrance. I like them both but, I think I like bullets a little better. Plus they take up less space.
  23. Not to bad. Have slight learning curve but all bellies are full and ready for bed.
  24. Disasemble for what?
