  3. I'm not sure if Lilleys landing has anything for that many people for that price but is a fantastic place to stay and I believe they can set you up with a guide.

  7. Snagged all day Friday and caught 7 but no keepers. We saw a few boats with fish hanging, so someone was doing well.

  11. We as well will be there this weekend and from what i have been reading it looks like its going to fun. I just got my new fly rod and am antsy to get there and try it out, I sure hope lilley can point in the right direction on the fly selection.   12. The state has just recently taken over it was just a taped up note saying so. We were expecting to have to buy permits to fish but got lucky.
  13. It was a little city lake in Paola called Miola lake one of the other guys said (rumored) that they caught a 7+lb out of there earlier that day But any way heres a little vid of what it was like Hailstorm
  14. Man it just came up fast we know it was coming, the rangers even stoped us and warned us. We thought we beat it and we kind of did, when it hit we all ready had the boat and was fishing one last spot from the bank. The poor guys in the boat got hit bad, we went back and checked on them, they said they got hit pretty hard a couple time trying to hurry back

Pay no attention to the fish feeder over the shoulder , we didnt want to go to far from the ramp with the storm coming in. and the after there are a couple a guys who were still on there boat when it hit but they did make it to safty sort of It was like a war zone when it picked up , one crazies thing i've been through
  16. Ok guys becareful I was out catching stripers in miami county kansas and got attacked by larger than golf ball size hail. It looks like some was headed that directions. We got the lake on film as it was getting bombarded by some large hail will post it as soon as I can. The wost part is the dang stripers were biting so well

  20. last year my brother-in-law broke both ankles and was in a wheel chair and we managed to get him the the water at lilleys. try to use little dock just above the boat ramp it seem the easiest to get down just take it easy You can kind of see the ramp to the right of the picture. and we had to alter the boat a bit to allow access of wheel chair but we got the job done So i hope this helps you out i think lilleys is the spot to head Kirk sorry i couldn't find a better picture of the ramp. Thats the best i got
  21. i havent been out yet but from what i have been reading they say they have been liking zebra midge, and berkley gulp yellow and orange. Thats just what i have heard, read back through the fishing reports down the page. kirk

  24. well by god you may just be right judgeing by your avatar. I've read some of your post but never really looked at your avatar thats crazy. I'm just trying to keep an eye out to see what i might need to bring down to get a leg up on them fish. Any ideas? What kind of fly rod do you have, I was at Dicks today looking and them had i think it was called pfluger(that could be way off) but i was wanting to try that this year.
