I remember releasing Otters in the '80's asking, When would we be able to Trap them? Being told oh they are just a novelty never be enough to Trap. Remember Guys in the '70's from Boonville bringing back Ice Chest full of Trout from Taney saying they drive all that way to catch Trout they were bringing enough back but the same Guy got stopped passing on a hill, never paid his Ticket and lost his License for a year. oneshot

Go to Lead Mine North of Buffalo Missouri. Go YY to Jug Town Road. This is one area seen many. Go West of Beliar, Missouri on 5HWY. There is a Old Quarry owned by Leonard's about a mile off the highway. Seen Timber Rattlers both places many times. oneshot

I take and cut the Head off, take Loppers cut the Feat and non Meaty part of the Tail. Slit skin on parts Pull Skin off with Pliers, take Loppers cut off where connected. Clean up Flour, Salt, Pepper and Fry. It is easier leaving the Shell alone, something to hold on to. oneshot

I've always shyed away from Baits other than Stink Baits because of Turtles.Today I was using Stink Bait. Every once in awhile Tap Tap. Thinking Small Cats. Catch a couple Channel Cats.One line kept running like a Catfish, I keep missing it. Finally I say that I'm not going to miss it, catch it, a dang Turtle, hook couple more. Decided to pack up and go home.After all these years I finally figured out if there is Turtles in the area, it don't matter what your fishing with they will find it. oneshot

Well I remember it and was surprised. I had seen many Floods before that were a result of Local Flooding. The '93 Flood was more a result of Flooding upstream. Was involved in many Evacuations and Sand Bagging had me scratching my Head. Sand Bag along the Levee only to have water coming through a creek behind the Sand Baggers. Then clean up afterwards. I seen something once I had never seen. The Missouri River was dry because of a Ice Jam upstream. oneshot

Ok I've always liked Sonny's Blood Dip Bait, Carolina Rig, 30 pound Test Line. Wanted Smaller Cleaner so picked up some Sudden Impact Punch Bait, Carolina Rig, 12 pound test line. Catfish were not biting but what did, bit on the Sudden Impact. It showed to be much Cleaner and worked. oneshot

I think I rather fish for Suckers in the Niangua. I have caught some Catfish while Sucker Fishing so all is Good. oneshot

I know but this was instead of Bear Hunting. We have a few days booked on a Houseboat in Louisiana Swamp and my wife said she rather spend the whole trip there. She was talking about swimming there but the waters are full of Gators The Guy Salt Water fishing with has a nice Boat. oneshot

Ok on the Otters I have been fishing on the Niangua River only to have four of them come to a hole just to kill fish. As far as Salt Water I have a trip booked. It should be fun. The Guy has had people reeling in Heads because of Sharks. oneshot

Well I went this morning and caught one small Channel Catfish. So yes can catch them but not a bunch. oneshot

Does anyone seriously fish for Catfish here on the Niangua River? I had some Guys by me one time Catfishing kept catching Trout and no one had a Trout Permit. Then I was fishing over at Pomme de Terre and a woman there said they fish for Catfish all the time on the Niangua River. In over 20 years I have caught two. oneshot

I have never fish it but fished below the Dam and did well. Now I usually just fish the rivers. oneshot

Ok common sense don't have to listen to LD or MDC they both have an agenda. I would say most have ate Deer that have CWD and there will always be Feral Hogs. That is all I have to say because everyone has their own idea and no sense in arguing. oneshot

Yelp got Gym couple more times this week. Got Ladder work and my wife has a fit. Have Guys hired but they don't show it has to be done. oneshot

Ah I was at the riffle at Barclay. Went to cross that little sandy hump there, tripped, hit the tree, came to, set up on the root, guess I went out again because I found myself laying on my face, laid there a bit, finally got up, seen my reel broke lose, my Legs and Back hurting. I got home took Pain Meds had my wife look me over. oneshot

Well fishing didn't go well. I caught one small Sucker and 3 14 inch Browns. Got ready to leave fell, KOed myself, come to, sat on a root, woke up again, laying down. Found my Legs and Back hurting, got up found I had broke my Reel. Made my way back to the Pickup and Home. Still hurting. Thought about calling 911 but didn't want to embarrass myself. oneshot

Oh got a Garden my wife isn't allowed in it. Oh my Jack Russell died she didn't like him. Hell of a Mouser, problem is he would take a whole wall out for one mouse. LOL oneshot
