Started out at Moon Valley, fished from the Slab. Didn't catch anything. Went to Lead Mine fished at the Concrete Ramp. Nothing there. Went to Barclay fished at the riffle. caught 4 Rainbows on White power Bait. Using 6# test line but the river was at Normal Pool and clear. Met I believe he said Cooper down there from the Forum. He was floating, said they did well fishing. oneshot

Well I was told yesterday I can't take the class because it is for Trained FEMA Instructors. I'm just a Volunteer but I can still go with my wife. She said I can drop her off and use the Jeep to go around town. I'm also Volunteer with COAD which is cleaning up after disasters. Got another class again in Jefferson City. I've been there really nice, class is across street from Hotel. Not sure if I can take the class there. Went to Columbia I hated it. oneshot

In June I can take a Class with my wife. She said I could go fishing. I really need the Class so I will probably take it. Could go to Bass Pro or somewhere. Got another Class coming up in Joplin. Hey they pay for nice Room and Meals. oneshot

Well there isn't as many being eaten as there use to be. Remember many stringers that use to go home. I still take them home if they are legal but to me they are just fish. oneshot

Ok I'm wanting to fish for Suckers close to the House, was told to go to Moon Valley. I think if the river was down it would be best going down below the Gravel Bar would be the best but now I'm thinking just below the Bridge. Am I right or someone have a better idea? oneshot

Went fishing below 64 HWY Bridge using 6# Test Line, number 6 Hooks, fishing on the Bottom with wad of Worm. Caught 4 Rainbows that were too nice to throw back. I was after Redhorse 🙄 But the river was clear and looks real good. Going to try way up river. oneshot

Never caught a Mirror Carp but I don't fish for Carp like I used to. oneshot

Had a Guy needing money asked me if I bought his Boat would I still take him to a certain fishing spot? Sure. I bought the Boat never had time to take him. Remember stringers of Bass. So many now days are saying nobody Hunts and Fishes for meat. Well guess I'm one of those nobodies because that is mostly what goes on our Table. Thing is just me and my wife we don't need that much. That is why Poaching don't make no sense because there is plenty of Game and Fish in season, if your not getting enough to feed your family get them out there. oneshot

Had a meeting up by Warsaw. Went where I use to hunt, seen plenty of Deer sign and fresh Tom Turkey Tracks. So if health finds me well I will be staying up there more this Fall. oneshot

Why have Spies ? Going a bit far. Me I don't worry about records even on Deer, I went to have a Rack Measured and Guy doing the Measuring POed me, I grab my Rack out of his hands and never looked back. Now if they are Big there is more Meat and that is all that matters to me. oneshot

Well MDC says it is a Record Alternative Carp for the State and it was Legally Taken. If I had caught it on Rod and Reel it would still be dead because I would have cooked it. oneshot

Ok weather has an effect. Today it was Warm and High Pressure. I went to the Gym had a Hard 2 Hour Workout and came Home Spaded on my 20'X20' garden, got half of it done and planted 8 Tomato Plants. Sore but was able to function. oneshot

They was brought here for their meat too Bad people no longer have the taste for them. We use to set Lines for them right along Catfish using Cottonseed Cake. Just don't see it anymore. Bass are Good eating this time of year and pretty easy to catch. oneshot

Ok there is sunken Cedar trees in areas. Go to MDC Fish Locator and it should show you where they are. There is several on Lindley Arm. If you can find how to get into Linley Creek there is some brush sticking up out of the water and you should catch Crappie there. It is still really still the Lake and Lake regulations apply for a long ways. oneshot

Well thinking of Deer season. My wife says P on everyone, walk, take a break, walk, take a break. Had a Good Walking Stick but my Son burnt it. Didn't go out but got one Road Kill, one Neighbor gave me one and got one hung in a Fence, so had plenty of Deer but more fun Hunting. Thought about buying my own place but have the Payments my wife says we're getting too old to think about buying property. Have a Cabin next to COE Land at Truman Lake she says that is enough. Got plenty of places at Truman Lake I can drive right up to the water. oneshot

Well when I was 30 I jogged 30+ miles a week, lifted Weights and was active in Karate. I was Operated on 5 years ago and was told by the Surgeon not to do anything for a year but I went on a hunt couple months later in the mountains got a Hernia out of the deal plus gained weight. Was working on my weight with diet and the Gym then got down again. Was down for two months gained the weight I had lost back. Back to diet and Gym lost half of it and still working on it. But haven't really been out walking since this time. My wife says I'm just getting older slow down. oneshot

Ok years ago I was working in a Seed Plant messing with Grain and Grass Seed all day. My Leg started swelling and I got Ulcerations. They put me on Lasix and spent months clearing up the Ulcerations. Well the Lasix was having a Domino effect on me kept having New Problems. Then I started having Blood Clots so they put me on Blood Thinners. Then got to where I couldn't move. They said I have Degenerative Bone Disease in lower and upper Spine. Doctor told me to drink Whiskey for the pain. I was also dipping SKOAL and smoking 3 packs a day. After awhile was coughing up pieces of my Esophagus. Found I had Barrett's Esophagus. Quit dipping,smoking and alcohol. Was put on Medication. New Doctor was going to take me off the Medication with out checking it. I went to a New Doctor that sent me to a Specialist he said I was very close to having Cancer. Doctor kept me on the Medication. After awhile asked the Doctor about just doing away with Salt.She said we'll try it. Swelling stayed down I'm my Leg, she took me off about 20 Medications. I was out hunting started having troubles found I had Blood Clots after awhile they took me off Blood Thinners couple months later had Blood Clots again. So they put me back on Blood Thinners. Right now I'm seeing a New Doctor. He says Blood Work come back everything is perfect Cholesterol,Oxygen Level, Heart Rate and Blood Pressure is good. But I do have this Arthritis. Just went to a Specialist and his concerned about my Throat. oneshot

Yes I know got to go soon see if I have that Cancer stuff. If I do don't know if I want to try that Chemo stuff. Either way I will only have couple years they say. oneshot

Ok my Doctor says I'm doing all I can and he is surprised I can do what I am. They are trying to Legalize Medical Marijuana. If they do it will be better than what I'm taking now. oneshot
