Ok I see they renamed the Old Circle J Camp Ground, Bennett Spring Camp Ground. Is it just me or would this be very confusing with Bennett Spring State Park Camp Ground? oneshot

Ok I don't fish the Park but have noticed more weeds in the river than normal last couple years. I blame it more on low water level mostly and maybe milder Winters. oneshot

Me and my wife just had a conversation about this. Several things have been stopped in the Woods and Streams of the Ozarks because of Endangered Species. Me being one in the past to burn the woods every Spring and take Gravel. Always figured what I did was why Endangered Species were there considering I wasn't doing anymore than so many before me had been doing the same before me for the last hundreds of years. Always felt burning produced more undergrowth for animals and I will admit for Cattle and Goats but also Deer and Turkeys. Taking Gravel produced Holes for swimming and Fishing.. Now see timber not burnt being taken over by Cedars and Maples, thick Leaf Litter, not as much undergrowth. Then Gravel choking the streams much less water to be floated or fished. Now as far as fencing a Floatable Stream, I've tried it, found it to be more of a pain to try and do it, at least once a year I was moving Stock out of the area because I knew my Fence was going to be washed out and I would have to put it back up. After awhile it became not much of a Fence. Been shot at by people owning both sides of a stream. So have been on both sides of the coin. MDC, DNR and whomever if there is Laws, let there be no Grey Area and enforce the Laws either way they fall. oneshot

Heard yesterday if Trout is caught with Power Bait it will die, if your caught catching one with Power Bait and releasing you will get a Ticket. Like I told them, they swallow my Hook and I want it, I rip their Gills out yes they will go Belly Up. oneshot

Went to our Cabin to mow. Thought about going fishing. Went to Sapps Landing water was out up in the brush, no way of fishing from the bank. oneshot

I fish by the dam and Lindley Arm. Lots of guys go below the dam. oneshot

Went to the river caught 4 nice Rainbows. Many Floaters and Pretty Ladies, plus Law down there watching them from the brush. Everyone was nice, have been down there when not so. oneshot

Willies should work I always just use White Power Bait. Trout slow down after Barclay start catching warmer water fish like Bass,Crappie and Goggle Eye Rockpile

Well yes but according to the Guy going to the river where I was catching them they hadn't stocked the Park so there was no Trout there. oneshot

Had a Guy in Camp area tell me they always fish the Park because the river is not stocked with Trout. Today I went fishing in the River caught some nice Rainbows. A Guy ran into me said he was going to try the River because they are not stocking the Park. oneshot

I'm going to have to put some Pics or Video on here showing how to catch Carp. It is not Rocket Science I just use Dough Bait, no Weight, #6 Treble Hook, no Hair Rig, I might Chum but do some while I fish. Catch all the Carp I want. Grandson with the first one I put him on oneshot

Buffalo I usually catch by accident either fishing with my Cornmeal Black Strap Molasses Dough Bait or Chicken Liver. In truth I think Buffalo like Something of a Meat on the Bottom than a Carp. So even Worms on the bottom should work. I've caught most mine Pomme de Terre or Truman but always found them in Large Bodies of water where I find Common Carp. oneshot

Last year spaded my garden found few worms. This year the dirt is so loose and every Fork have bunch of nice Worms. Thinking Trout, Goggle Eye, Sucker and Perch for Catfish. Sure I could think of more but a Good Start. oneshot
