I was thinking with some on here they do not get MoCarp. Most people now days catch Bass and turn them Back they would never eat them but spend Thousands if not Millions to fish all the time for this Fish. And several will put down anyone keeping 6 and taking them Home cooking them up. MoCarp using specialized European Style fishing for Carp still has considerable amount of money tied up into fishing for Carp. And if people eat Carp it is a Bad no,no. The main difference is the money is not there for Carp because of this BIG LABEL TRASH. But think about this, Carp fishing, you set on the Bank, you Read or Take a Nap, when your Bite Alarm goes off most the time you will have 5X the fight you would ever have with a Bass. You don't have the money invested in Lures and Boats. You can do this several times a day. Think about this am I missing something? Me I'm not so fancy, I use my Medium Action Rod and Reels, 12# Test Line, 4 or 6 Treble Hook and a Dough Bait I mix up. Carp will work my Drag. Ok I can do the same with Catfish just not as fast or regular as Carp but I have better meat to eat. With these Larger Carp I may not fish for them but like Bass, Hybrid Bass, Trout and Musky. They are still there and are a special catch just bad some put such a negative Label on them. oneshot

Are them Mirror Carp? If they are I thought they was already here. Over in Europe they are so much different here. Here I just use a Dough Bait on a Treble Hook. Catch Common Carp regular and they will put up a fight that will put any Bass to shame. If I wasn't Meat Fishing I could use this same method and release most fish and they would do ok because they don't swallow the hook. oneshot

Caught plenty Redhorse as matter fact I caught the Biggest one I ever have last Spring. Now I'm Boatless so I'm fishing from the bank witch limits where I can fish. Oh I did catch a 6.5 Pound Rainbow on Night Crawlers, Number 6 Baitholder Hook, and 6# Test Line. oneshot

Interesting I grew up Paying to Carp Fish. Found it exciting and still do, just don't pay. I also enjoy catching Buffalo and Suckers which are Native Fish and very Good Eating. One of the last times I paid for fishing for Carp. 22 pounds. oneshot

Yes my Daughter got mad at me because she was wanting me to contact friends for Tickets for her to use on certain Shows. I told her I wouldn't do this. It was different if they wanted to show me a Good time because we're Friends but not using me for my Families Pleasure. Had one friend I was hanging out with their Family. We all went out. Everyone was asking this person for their autograph. After the evening was done I told them knowing them for many years I felt awkward and asked if I could have their autograph. They told me sure that it meant more giving it to a true friend. oneshot

Ok back when I had a Boat people would invite themselves for opening of Snagging Season. I know I had say over my Boat but it was always over loaded and very little snagging done. Well I could never get anyone to go with me when I wanted to go, found I was catching plenty of fish from the bank. And I enjoy myself. So I sold my Boats. Well we have a Cabin 10 miles South of Warsaw as close to Truman Lake as I can get. Drive couple miles and have best spots to set back and fish and can drive right to them. Well seems a couple are wanting to come in a couple weeks and go Catfishing figuring they will be off the nest and he has a Boat. He has 3 Boats and told me I could use a Boat any time I wanted. Just bothers me people inviting themselves. I guess I'm crazy like that over the years have been invited to many Hunting and Fishing trips. Have always been reluctant but after I'm once involved enjoyed myself. I just wish I kids would want to be involved with us. Had one Son out of the blue invited me on several Hunting Trips and went on one Fishing Trip. I couldn't do much because I had been operated on and almost died, was told not to do anything for a year. This same Son drove right by the Hospital while I was there and didn't stop. Well my Grandson his Son told me the only reason he was doing this with me was because he was wanting my Boat. Didn't last long now he no longer wants anything to do with me. We have six Kids and none really have anything to do with us. We have one Son we drive 70 miles one way to work for him twice a week. We are not close but he likes us there because we keep others from stealing off him. Last year he had 25K stolen off him. Have one kid come right out saying he hates me and just soon not want anything to do with me the others just never come around. Don't really know my grip just not sure how to deal with people inviting themselves to what I have? I just soon do the inviting. oneshot

Well do have Rattle in some Lures to attract Fish. Makes sense. I know land Mammals if there is a sudden loud noise they will just hold tight if they can't tell what it is. Rain to me is great, softens Leaves and Deer can't hear as well. Turkeys will head for open fields. Jet Boats going through shallows on the river there will be a Feeding Frenzy after they go through but this is same as shuffling. oneshot

That an't nothing went to Managed Deer Hunt at Peck Ranch they had Road Block up giving Tickets for no Seat Belt. Here they had Road Block up. 3/4 of the people going in were either being arrested or Ticketed and half the people on the river couldn't leave because they knew they would be arrested. oneshot

Seen so many changes in my Teens I seen the first No Trespassing Sign because people not wanting others on their property during Deer season. Paid for my first farm Trapping and running Coon Hounds back in early '70's. All the women had Coon Fur Collars on their Coats, I loved it. Remembered people keeping Stringers of Large Mouth Bass . Just the other day had Water Patrol go by me on the Niangua River using a Jet Boat. And now MDC stopping me from hunting Wild Hogs on Public Lands. I will guarantee you if you have something you enjoy in time others will change it and take your fun away. I remember when Branson was only around 300 people, one Movie Theater sign in front said No Food or Drink in Theater. Silver Dollar City your Main Rides were Train and Stage Coach. Went down there every weekend and enjoyed it. We have been few times, stayed couple nights, went to a couple Shows and had fun. The other day talked it over with my wife about going down there. She said she rather go to our Cabin by Truman Lake. Anymore we go down there we like Forsyth better. oneshot

Have a woman corner me couple times a week. She has just started fishing and lives by Fellows Lake. Always wants to know what to do? I've tried explaining Slip Bobber and Carolina Rig. We use to do a High Fence Hunt once a year during the off season, then I guess it got to be too much for them to go. We had fun and yes did Party and have fun. But like I say no more. I now go on other Hunts but it is not the same. I use to live right on the Arkansas River in Colorado, that part I did enjoy. Have fun. oneshot
