  1. It is a pain when loading and unloading by your self. Does anyone know what happend to the one from last year. It wasn't much but atleast it served the purpose.
  2. Not sure t1365 when it is. I try to fish it every year. Great tourny with a big turn out. The kids love it. Can't believe they did not reschedule later in the year last year.
  3. Thanks for all the help. Denjac, I think Frankies might have found me one. S&M, yes very expensive. New around $750 bucks, if you can find one. Baxter marine has been working on it and has tried every possible thing. But I'm afraid that is my problem. Again thanks for everyone's help.
  4. I am desperatly needing a fuel rail for a 1997 200 Mercury DFI(Opti-max). Merc has discontined parts and no aftermarket parts dealer has started carrying them yet. Does anyone know where or who to contact to find one. I might even be interested in a blown or parted out motor to buy to get the parts off of. The boat is a sitting duck till I find one. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  5. Champ, congrats to you and Donna on the tourny. Not been on Beaver all year but thinking of going down there this weekend to avoid the traffic at the Rock. Any pointers, baits, or colors would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and congrats again!
  6. I have also been on the Seagar band wagon. I have no complaints. Just always looking for that bargain. Has anyone tried the Seagar Red Label. I sure like the price. I bought some of the new Seagar abrasX but have not yet tried it.
  7. Nice photos redbud. Did you know the boat was there all to well, or just happen to see it?
  8. I also like Champ188 really like the BassX jigs they make and sell at Hook Line & Sinker in Rogers. They have every color imaginable. As for the rods it is hard to go wrong with Falcon. With my smaller jigs up to 1/2 oz I use the Eakin's rods. With my big jigs I use the McClelland rods.
  9. I have 2 520's and they do everything I need them to do. They may not have as many watts as there big brothers but if you can see a knot in your line 30ft down it is doing all I need it to. Good look on your decision.
  10. Thanks for the info guys. Don, do you know the hours or dates open over at the Dam.
  11. I bought a new pass about a month ago but somehow I've managed to lose it. Just wondering if anyone knew if you could get another without paying the $30.
  12. Not a problem Don. Not so sure about a rematch. Even a blind squirrel can find an acorn every now and then. As for the windshield, my partner was atleast wishing he had a console to hide behind.
  13. Don, wrong name but thanks for the props. We were just happy to make it back to the ramp with the floorboard of the boat under water. Had a good day fishing though with the big bass coming on the blade along with one other keeper black. Had one keeper on the wart and several keepers on Don's jig pattern. I bet Don was happy to have the Big Blue Beast on the water for the tourney. Great tourny and for a good cause. Hope I can make it to the next.
  14. Fishrman, let me guess. Are you from Cassville.
  15. Thanks Don, and good luck with the slick sides!
  16. Great report guys. Finally getting to go out tomorrow for the first time in over a month. Don, just wondering if your fish had started moving into the creeks or are you still catching them on main lake stuff. And have you been having any wart action. Thanks
  17. Not sure but I think it is 50% payback. I'm going to try to make it. Haven't even been on the lake in well over a month. To busy chasing that big horned ghost of the woods and finally got him.
  18. Don, gotta ask about that extra hook trick.
  19. I know Don had a nice picture of one awhile back.
  20. Thanks for the replies guys. But some of the sores could have been from the birds but the ones that worried me the most were the ones that were nickel sized circles. These sores had more tissue on the surface than blood. And yes, none of the smallies had them. Only the LM and KY's.
  21. Was able to get out late yesterday afternoon for a few hours around Baxter. Had 9 keepers with 14 fish total. Had a great time. But was more concerned with at least 7 of them with sores on them. They ranged from bloody wounds on there backs and tails to nickel sized spots on there sides and heads. Have saw fish like this before but not this many in a small area. Just wondering if anyone else in that area has noticed the same thing.
  22. There's a couple I'd like to have T-day.
  23. Glad to see everyone else expressing some of the issues I agree on. My partner and I ended up in the top 15 teams. But used most of our vacation days, thousands of dollars, and alot of time away from family pre-fishing and competeing. I know this is what we signed up for and am fine with that. Just thought everyone else fishing for a chance at the championship would've had to do the same. Like Hogfan said, Truman is the lake they qualified on. Just kinda pouring salt into the wound if you ask me.
  24. 4fishys, I've had days were I'd sure like to have that certainly with the conditions. I've also had my worst year of losing fish on the jig. Seems like sometimes they just enjoy the ride and then just spit it. Maybe come back when you can stay longer. Good Fishin
  25. Thanks Hogfan. Bucksaw, wonder why way up there.
