    March 18

    Nice fish and welcome home.
  6. Caught one last March on a jerkbait fishing with Bill Babler on a guide trip. First and only one I have caught.
  7. Good grief what a spot! Congrats on a fish of a life time.
  8. Anyone have a Duckett rod? Would you recommend? Looking at a 6'6" Medium for a stickbait rod. Man they feel light.
  9. Techo: You have the right gameplan. Time on the water is great for the soul and recharges the battery. Time flies and there are only so many spring stickbait bites on Table Rock.
  10. Happy Birthday Bill!
  11. Check out the Basswishes website. They have plenty of colors in stock.
  12. I'll second Dale Sellers. He does a very good job as well as Tim Hughes. They both have websites you can check out. I think they still charge $12 per bait to paint.
  13. Great info! Thanks Bill.
  14. Have a great trip. Nice time to get out of the heat and humidity.
  15. That's irresponsible and extremely irritating. You should let him know what you think about it and send it to the Arkansas Fish & Game. What an idiot.
  16. Atta Boy Bill! I knew they couldn't keep you down long.
  17. I had a great day of stickbait fishing with Bill Babler last Thursday. Bill is a real pro and has a passion for fishing and especially stickbait fishing. It was like a day on the water with a stickbait Professor and quite a learining experience. Bill has 30 plus years experience on Table Rock and it shows. Wherever the fish are "on", Bill has fish catching locations to take you too. I don't know how he remembers them all. He doesn't just fish an area of the lake you are staying at, he takes you to where the fish are biting. Bill has tremendous knowledge on seasonal patterns on Table Rock and baits that are most effective. I know there are many great guides on Table Rock. However, Bill has to be at the top of the list. Not only a great guide, but a great guy as well. Highly recommended and well worth the money. Thanks again Bill. "You Tha Man"
  18. Great idea! Love to hear the reports first hand from Bill Babler.
  19. 1) Rico popper & Lucky Craft Gun Fish 2) McStick, Lucky Craft Pointer 3) Eakins, P J's football jigs
  20. Thanks for the heads up!
  21. Do you guys normally change out the hooks? I bought a few yesterday and changed them out.
  22. Bass Pro is having their annual spring fishing classic sale and I usually stock up on XPS flurocarbon which is usually 30% off. What are you guys using for flurocarbon line? I haven't tried the Seguar fluro/Invisx on the Trilene 100% which I have heard are both good. Thanks for your input.
  23. Anyone have any suggestions for a clean reasonably priced cabin with a boat launch and docks in the Baxter area? Saw a few on a website: Little Indian, Mill Creek & Trace Hollow. Thanks for any recommendations or input.
  24. Where can we find the podcast? Thanks.
  25. Cabela's Guidewear is as good as it gets. Watch Cabela's sales and you can normally catch one and get 20-30% off.
