If you get out around the K.C. area be careful after dark. Have seen lots of debris floating around that area from the tornado.

Extended Warranty For Outboards
Hogfan posted a topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
Anyone have any recommendations on extended motor warranty outside the manufacturer? I’ve never purchased warranty through anyone but the manufacturer itself but noticed some other outside companies offer warranty at a lower price. Does this come with a bigger price tag later down the road? Do these companies cover what they say they will? Thanks for any advice. -
If I was putting money on it I would have a hard time betting against KVD but I'm kind of pulling for Edwin Evers or Hackney.

Yeah Beaver's about 10' low itself right now. With cold temps and no rain looks like it may drop a few more feet before spring.

Hickory has two corps ramps too. Go right through the first guard shack and after you pass the 2nd guard shack it's on your right. It's in the back of the cove so its probably high and dry too. I don't think it has a courtesy dock either.

I have to agree with Sam. Call Big Cedar back. There's some nice clean places around the lake, but nothing like Big Cedar for sure.

I've quit putting in at the Hickory Creek Corps ramp. The south ramp at Horeseshoe Bend is still in great shape with a good courtesy dock.

There were some FLW guys using this method last spring when they were here. I personally saw a co-angler catch a short smallmouth on it while the pro was throwing a jerkbait. Heard some pros were using them too. When I first saw it I remember thinking "is that guy really using a bobber in an FLW tournament" because I had never heard of the technique.

Very impressive! Congrats to those gentlemen! Can't even imagine what it would be like to cull a 5 pounder. You couldn't slap the smile off my face as I idled up to the ramp!
