If you must know, I've been working on a jersey deal that says, If you ain't throwin' a Ned, you must be dead!
Of course, since I can't wear the same one every day, I'm also considering one that says, Only the crass kill their bass!
Judging by the traffic on Rick's recent posts, I'd say no debate is forthcoming. But we all know you are a master chef when it comes to stirring the proverbial pot.
Goose, you can search the archives on this site and find some excellent info on drop shotting. It's not one of my favorite tactics but if you want some particular info, feel free to PM me. I'll do what I can to help or hook you up with the right person.
You're thinking along the right lines, Goose. This ol' lake is tough enough to figure out at good times of the year, much less in the heat of summer. Look up whiteriveroutfitters.com or hookedonbass.com.
On top of that, there's a big copperhead that lives right there at the ramp and likes to crawl up under your truck while you're out fishing. And then there's the hornet nest ...
Donna is better at backing the trailer and handling the boat than a lot of men. Our routine is I back her in when we launch and then she goes and gets the trailer in the afternoon. You'd have to ask her why we do it that way. And by the time I climb down out of the boat when we'rle loading up, she has half or more of the latching down done.
Yeah, I think I'll keep her.
Yes, I think any sportsman would like to see trophy fish of any species released, if possible.
And we have pretty much beaten the hide off the carcass of the catch-and-release horse.
Bo, I launched and loaded there last Friday at 923 and I know what I'm talking about. I've launched off the parking lot when I didn't want to wait for the ramp to clear after a tournament back in April at 917. You can easily launch 50 feet to the left of the dock with no ditch to worry about.
I think conservation pool is the same year-round, although I could certainly be wrong. And Donna can leave that statement alone if she'd like to fish any of our really good spots in the near future.
