    That would be a great place to do some noodling. But I havent done that in a long time and I don't plan on doing it ever again.

    Hit a trib of the Sac yesterday with Chief and another friend. Chief promised us it was fishy looking water, and it was, but that didn't equal a lot of fish. I think between the 3 of us we had less than a dozen fish. But it was still a great day to be on the water. All I could catch were a couple of catfish on a ned rig.

    Yeah I'm thinking the guarantee that I do have in place is going to be breached around 9am tomorrow morning.

    Yeah I'm only interested in sight fishing for them. I've read that the damsel nymphs can be good but after looking at all the patterns that are out there it seems they just need to be buggy and in front of a fish.

    Well it was in March. I've been trying to get a man boob free gaurantee from him but haven't succeeded yet.

    Well any pointers you have would be appreciated. I used to fish for them when I was a kid and I know they can be a lot of fun. Being stealthy and casting well is not something I do well.

    This is my next quest. A carp on the fly. Going to get started on that in a couple of weeks.

    As long as you are happy with your casting then it's perfect. Fish aren't handing out style points.

    And this is why there are so many different rods available and why one persons opinion of a rod doesn't mean squat to you.

    I've never felt hassled by a checkpoint. And I have been through many of them in several different states.
