I'm slow. I fit more into Wayne's category. It's not because I spend a long time at each hole, but I do spend a lot of time just hanging out. Elaborate breakfasts and dinners? Oh hell yes. Always on the go most of the time so on a float trip it's time to slow down and relax.

The James is just not very jet boat friendly that far north. I guess some will find out the hard way but you won't be taking a jet from Hooten to Shelvin, or vice versa, at any level except flood stage. I'm thinking right around the Finley you are going to run into a big problem.

Doing the same thing as you Ness. I got on there because my daughters wanted on there and I wasn't allowing that unless I could keep a close eye on them or more importantly how people were treating them. It's good to keep up with distant friends and relatives and showcase pics and info but as far as going back and forth like we do here it's not much good. Yep the kids are dropping off fast. Twitter started some of that and now Snapchat seems to be a big deal. My oldest (19) has quite the Twitter following. It's pretty impressive to see the list of followers with people like John Mayer and such. But I don't really get it. Especially after she blocked me!!

Brian, I agree, it doesn't float any better than anything else. And I never catch anything big enough to burn my fingers.

I've used a sharkskin 5 wt for years. No problems with it but I don't fish it that hard. Bought a SA textured 8 wt line last year that I really like. Not bad stuff.

I'm the same way usually but what happened to customer service? Or any knowledge of what they are selling. I watched a male employee of BPS try to help a lady decide on a waist pack for her husband. It was funny watching them try to figure out the extra straps on a chest pack. He had the lady trying to step into the straps and pull it up like a pair of shorts. It was really sad. You can brag all you want about having your mind made up before you get there but customer service really stinks in this country anymore. And I'm not just talking BPS here. Some of the worst service you can find is in the mom and pops. Too bad these business owners don't respect their own businesses enough to give their customers the best service they can.

Hemmingways? Yeah that's gone way downhill too. Some people like BPS. Others don't. Nobody is mad that you like them so I don't know why you are so mad at the people that don't.
