Yeah parking is outrageous unless you park outside the lot and walk in. I’ve parked outside and had a shorter walk to the stadium than those that have paid. But the whole thing is a hassle. I rarely buy a beer inside. Probably haven’t bought a 12 pack in all the games I’ve ever been to. And hell yeah it’s loud!! It’s a freaking football game. Been to a few other stadiums and they are pretty pathetic. St. Louis was the worst. Most boring place ever to see a game, no wonder they left. But I totally understand. Several years ago I would be there. Now I like my house more than the hassle.

That's what keeps playing in my head. If I can just make it till about 3pm Sunday without doing it I will be okay. Think I'll commit to having a viewing party so I can't leave.

Needed something warm and good for the game on Saturday, and since it was just me and the wife we made an enormous pot of chili. She got it started by browning 3 pounds of ground beef. It's a really simple recipe but it makes the best Frito pies in the universe. While it was hanging in the crock pot waiting on her return from shopping with the girls I made a cherry pie. Again simple but delicious.

I think Chris Jones and Dee ford will have something to say about that.

Back when I worked in an auto parts store we had a big snow in Springfield. One of my guys had an Isuzu Trooper that would go anywhere so I had him come pick me up for work. None of the other guys made it in that day and we ended up closing early but hitting the liquor store instead of going home. We were out just having a bit of fun and decided that we would stop by one of the guys house that didn't make it in to give him a hard time. As we got to his house we saw several snowmen in his yard and a little fort. He had been having all kinds of fun while we were at work. We knocked on the door buy nobody would answer. So we trashed his fort and murdered all the snowmen and then threw all out empty beer bottles out in his yard. That will teach him. As we are driving on down the road we get about 3 or 4 houses down and my buddy points at one and says "Wait a minute, isn't that Shannon's house?". He was right.

True. And he may never get a shot. But he also has the tendency to implode. Not sure if that was his problem yesterday since I missed all of that one. Was kind of bummed out that I didn't drop the cash on AFC Championship tickets for Sunday. Then I saw the forecast. High of 15??? Yeah I'll stay home. Be tough for Brady to scramble when he's wearing his Uggs.

Me and a buddy pulled up next to another friend and I threw a smoke bomb in the bed of his truck. Had no idea that there was some loose hay in there. Never seen somebody head to the car wash so fast.

Agreed. They are allowed to roam free on too many rivers around here. Big nice gravel bar on the lower James that would be great for camping if it wasn’t covered in cow patties. And people at TR are worried about the water coming from Springfield.

Phil won’t allow me to post my true feelings about the Rams. But I have hated them since the 1970’s.

Chargers are a better team than the Patriots so I expect them to win, but you never know, Pats are tough at home. Either way a better team is coming than what they played against today.
