  1. Welcome to the forum and our neck of the woods. Looking forward to reading your posts and reports on your adventures here in the Ozarks. Oh, and by the way, most of all, thank you for your service!
  2. Had a small window to fish Stockton with a buddy this morning. We put in at 8:30 at Mutton Creek launch and fished pea gravel flats drifting minnows in 18 feet of water. Took us till 11:30 to catch our limits of keeper walleye. Caught another 8-10 shorts, two small mouth,9 keeper crappie, a spot, a white bass, and one drum also in the three hours. Water temp was 58 degrees. Great morning of fishing. Most fish were caught right along this bank

  10. Are these all from new spots Leonard, or were you able to get back into your old spot?
  11. Nice find Marty! Glad the tip helped. I found fresh ones on the north side of hills in the cedar glades yesterday. I think you have hope for at least another week of finding them.
  12. Awesome idea. Maybe a local Boy Scout Troop?
  13. Yes we do find them in Alaska right around the middle of June.
  14. Found 63 more in a new spot for the dehydrator today. Still confirming this has been my best year ever finding them.
  15. Sounds fantastic Marty.....now I'm hungry.
  16. my dehydrator does not have a temp setting but it took about 8 hours to turn them into the hard little rocks. Those hard little rocks turn back into mushrooms in about 30 minutes in cool water
  17. A sample of a dehydrated half and a rehydrated half.
  18. Marty, hope you find a mess of them. I have been finding all of mine in well established cedar glades.
  19. Some of them may just make the trip with us
  20. As many as you feel like messing with. It is amazing how small they get when you dehydrate them!
  21. Had to go out and try it yesterday. Was tagged out on turkeys and wanted to get in the woods. Its not too often you can enjoy a snow day in southern Missouri in May. The pay off was good. Another 247 mushrooms.
  22. At this time the EPA has only received 3970 comments from the public on the 2nd Assessment of Potential Mining Impacts on Salmon Ecosystems of Bristol Bay, Alaska. We only have till May 31 for our voice to be heard.

  24. Once again, had a fun time. I did get a little cold and still trying to warm up. It will be interesting to see what this weather does to them.
