Dutch, where do you plan to put in?

Me too. Went out with a guide hoping to learn about livescope. 1/2 day morning trip. One fish. Could see fish but tough to get them to take it, lots of followers. As wind came up even harder to get the lure on target. This just might be a sign for me.

I just got a Lund 1750 rebel xs. First deep v. it’s a booger in a wind to control for bass style fishing. -
Mostly bass fishing. Went with the deep v cause I’m getting old and wanted to feel safer. Also planning to try some trolling for whatever bites. Too many times when the bass refuse my offerings.

Thanks for the comments. I just bought a 17.5 ft deep V by Lund. I’ll stick with picking a close spot and watch the wind!

Dutch, any advice on driving in rollers? I’d like to try Stockton but the effect of wind worries me.

Emptied one box, covered a 4 by 6 table lots of bucktail, every color of the rainbow same with chenille, all colors lots of hackle, various sizes and color lots of thread, many sizes and colrs braided rope??, for fly bodies maybe colored wire, several colors the remaining box is a little larger with similar contents

My sisters husband was a serious fly fisher and tier. Passed recently and trying to help her sell some of his stuff. dyna king barracuda vise with all extras ott light with magnifying glass (note cracks in some of the flexible parts of the flex arm). 2 medium sized boxes of tying materials, hundreds of plastic pouches of all kinds $750 for all. Vise lists between $600 - 800, lite about $140, materials worth $100s. Kansas City area

like new used about five times. Just don't fish like I used to. Vibram soles with metal studs, studs can be removed if preferred. $300 new, $150 to you. Also has belt with back support.

anybody have an update on the water conditions around eagle rock? Dave and I planned to participate in the tourney this saturday but due to family obligations make it necessary to make it a one day trip from Kansas City. If it's chocolate milk with lots of debris we might reconsider. If it's just off color we'll go ahead and make the trip.
