    Dutch my thoughts exactly. Batteries are cheap compared to the gas and oil. I just didn't want to jump the gun too early.

    How long does everyone go between replacing their trolling motor batteries? I'm heading into my third season and fish 3 days a week March- Sept. My boat had interstates in it when I bought it new. Should I replace them or wait until the end of the third season? I can fish all day as it is but the power is starting to slow after 5 hours.

    I have had good luck with guides but you get what you pay for and you have to understand it's called fishing for a reason.

    I fished there a bunch. Big fish by the dam but small browns the rest of the river. I would go to several rivers near by.

    I would make a 2 fish limit from copper creek to fall creek 16 inch min. Make a special bait tag that costs another 5 dollars if you want to use bait in that zone.

    Look At Poome de terre. It's a Great Lake with houses and docks and is very quiet. The word is the fish can be ok....

    Thanks. I smashed them on a pins minnow yesterday from the island down to fall creek. Lots of nice fish. A couple browns were pushing 20 inches. One of my better days on tanney.

    I use joe bald all the time. It's the quickest way up to Baxter from my place down dd.

    Fuel was the reason I didn't get a bigger rig. It makes a lot of sense for guys to run a 18-19 foot boat with a 150. It fits in the garage, sips the gas running and towing and still does 60 plus mph.
