  1. There are no fish in the James. Only cotton mouths and Rabid otters.
  2. Marty are you near the dam or up the river?
  3. They need to add a dock.
  4. Here we go again
  5. Mouse colored war eagle 3/8
  6. You don't not need "a" baitcaster! You need (I mean need) at least two!
  7. No joke. I had a few keepers on stockton on Sunday before the rain. Today looked good but it was tought.
  8. Fished megabass and jigs today for a total of zero. Water temp 42. Dirty at nemo. Clearer towards dam. I'm in a rut!
  9. I fished pomme with no bites. I feel your pain.
  10. Buy some 2 lb floro for tippet. Throw 2 pink and 2 white power bait magnum floating balls on a size 6 gold hook. Use two large split shot 18 inches above the hook. Hook only one of each egg (other is free to spin). Your boys will have limits in no time.
  11. Good points Bill. Safety is something we overlook from time to time. Even pros or the long in the tooth need to pay attention. I got a lot of heck for telling people to slow down to 30 mph at night last year. Next week a guy hit something at night and died. I hope we all live a long time to chase the next bite.
  12. On Sunday I caught two keepers on a megabass before the rain set in.
  13. Are they starting yet? I fished Sunday without a walleye bite.
  14. Mail a request. The info is on thier site.
  15. Get any? Sucked for me today.
  16. No snow on them
  17. Bill, You rock in terms of your information. Keep it up! Thanks!
  18. Yes but I like 10 lb
  19. Open today
  20. There is nothing wrong with a cheap bait. Wiggle Warts are 3.99 at Walmart yet catch TONS of fish for me each year. Same thing goes for the fat Albert grub or swimming minnows for crappie and white bass. I love my megabass but there is a place for cheap baits that work.
  21. I love my tempest on my pro xs .
  22. Rattlers all over the James.
  23. No smallies in the James!
  24. I grew up fishing the rock. I have landed a few nice fish over the years but its not a place to catch consistent 5lb+ fish. Beautiful lake but it is a challenge to fish and doesn't give up huge bags most days. My heart is with the rock but I head to stockton or lake o for big numbers and big bags.
