patfish work is slow for me now I have a couple of good jobs coming up in the near future I hope to get them done by April 1 so that I can fish all of April and May then I will be ready to go back to work until August when it gets hot. We might carpool so we can save money and fish all the way through september. Wouldent life be great for a working person could plan work around a busy fishing scedule like this.Mabe one of us will win the POWERBALL tonight.

have you ever been biten by a lampray they are like a overgrown leach that sucks on with a nastey bite that will hurt and bleed worse than any leach I have come across one got me on the Gasconade river in October when I was gigging it was stuck to a fish. I was messing with it trying to figure out wat it was. Some one told me it was a lampray any way about 8in long big around as my thumb and its head was about as big as a container of CARMEX (just happen to be looking at a container of CARMEX thought is was about the right size to compare)

If you are going to tell a fishermans tale make it a good one like 20 or 22in brownies but its ok my tape starts at 4in too.

in the outside unit check the capacitor(not sure on spelling) it is the most likely cause of outside unit not working at all. Most of the time not always if it is bad it will be bulged out. Cheap fix less than $20 make sure you disconnect the power there is a shutoff attached to the house behind or next to the outside unit. Capacitor will be inside the unit.

I would like to get out and go try diffrent places that I havent fished I love to fish for monster catfish and would like to get ur to the missouri river and the lower osage river and do some fishing. I have also heard about a warm water discharge at dover station on the missouri river I would like to try before winter is over

I shoot a Mathews Switchback I was shooting targets at a mathews dealer in springfield picked one up and fell in love on the spot. Went home that day a happy guy $1200 lighter in the wallet but was worth every penny.That was 3 years ago now I hunt with a coustom built long bow I had made this year just got it 2 weeks ago. It is neat shooting wood shaft arrows that I fletched with wing feathers off of a turkey I killed this fall.I am aso twisting my owne strings and going to start cresting arrows. I think this is the neatest thing I have ever done now I am thinking I am going to sell my Mathews I posted it on craigslist today wanting to trade for a small honda generator for my gigging boat.

about 1 good river party a year is all I am good for and yes I will miss the jello shots and the beads. I can see were the trout would eat the beads and jello shots trashing the river but what is wrong with a beer bong cans go in the trash bags and if someone lanched it to another boat and it landed in the water they surely would not leave it.

I owne a concrete construstion business work is slow as I have ever seen but I got started 7 years ago in good times went from 8 guys working last year down to 2 now and still cannot get a full week in. there is no resedential work at all and the commercial work is going down hill fast.I do got a 6 week job on the books to start next month and a big parking lot on the building we put in last month. I had so mutch stuff to do in the past I would give jobs to the guys that worked for me they would do them after work and on weekends and make the big bucks it helped them out and me to but them days are gone for now.

someone bougt and moved the heated dock I fished at all the time around Greenview Tonka Freads I belive that place was loaded with crappi at any time of the year one of these days I am going to take my boat and fish the spot where the dock was anchord I would think allof the brush is still under the water there. It was sitting in around 25 ft water along a bluff

hung an anchor below the dam at Truman with all flood gates open pulled a 21 ft pontoon down enough for water to come on deck before we got the rope cut (about 10 seconds). I learned a lesson that day then about a month later I was fishing the Osage Fork dragging a windo weight dident pull it in going through some current and the next thing I know I was sunk in 3 ft of water. It took a couple of times for me to learn not to use them in strong current. I havent took the boater saftey course. Does anyone know if this subject is on the test.

I think terry is right minerals and stuff like that seem to draw the deer better than anything I use buck lures and scent dont know why just do for some reason. Never had a buck come in looking for it. had bucks come in with does but never had one come in looking for the scent. the only thing I found that kind of works is to put some doe urin on a piece of cloth and tie it on your shoes and walk in dragging it through the woods although it is not recomended by the people who make it I have never been attacked of the hundreds of times I have done this.I have had 2 deer come in smelling the ground where I walked to my stand one doe and one little spike buck so I cannot say it doesent work but it does have a high failure rate.

I have a 9 yr old boy not to interrested in hunting he is starting to warm up to it a little.I also have a 4 year old girl and I had to leave her at home crying yesterday because it was cold she loves to go with me hunting and fishing it broke me in half to leave her at home crying yesterday but it was just to cold I will take her this evening.

I dont think it should just jump from 5 to 80 that is a little mutch but a little more than 5 would be ok like 10 or 20 there is not many people in Mo that owne 80 acers anymore but I guess that is the reason for going with 80 instead of something more reasonabale like 10 or 20.

I have everything you need except a generator and gigs if you go with electric. I would take $250 for everything. will include the box that runs the lights the bulbs ,rail for the boat,and reflecting shield. I have pics of the lights and box in the buy sell and trade on this forum.

the olny advantage of propane is no noise.other than that theay are not as bright as electric and changing mantels all the time sucks too. I have a set of 400 w multi vapors for sale these are bright and light up the water and everything else. I bought two power inverters and my lghhts will run 2 hours on three deep cycle bateries.
