  1. Bump for the evening crowd. Make an offer
  2. 2004 Explorer XLT AWD 4.0L V6 Flex Fuel 209,xxx miles BRAND NEW Cooper Mesa Tires (less than 200 miles) 19 MPG Highway - Never really fill up with only in town driving so don't want to guess that CD/Tape/AMFM Running Boards 2 Keyless Entry Fobs Keypad Door Entry Third Row Seating This vehicle is excellent mechanical condition and has been well-maintained its whole life. Just did a high mileage, synthetic oil change. The interior and paint are in good condition. KBB value is just over $5,000. Asking $4,500. I have had this vehicle for three years (bought from uncle). It's been very low maintenance. Only selling because I've purchased a truck. Call or text Sam at 314-779-5323 Vehicle is in Springfield.
  3. Pflueger Presidents are all I use anymore. I prefer 6'6" medium light action rods.
  4. I would get 6 pound P-Line Premium Plus. Has the diameter around what most 4lb lines have.
  5. I'd go. Most weekday evenings are open.
  6. That was the second time I've went upstream from there, and the only place I've caught a fish was where the spillway/drainage thing comes out.
  7. Got in the water yesterday at 6:00 pm at the 65 ramp and started paddling upstream. Almost to the 60 bridge (just paddling, no fishing), I started thinking this is probably not the best place to go this time of the season...well it wasn't. Didn't get a bite in two hours. Went out again today at 6:00 from the 65 ramp and headed towards the lake. I caught four large mouth (2 small and 2 keepers) fishing the "coves" in about 2-3 feet of water. Caught 2 on white/chartreuse senkos, 1 on black Power Worm, and 1 on a green floating fluke. The worm strike was hard; the other three were very soft. Below is the only picture I got before the batteries died...note to self: change camera batteries from last spring before going back out.
  8. I was there today and a guy was on pontoon with waders...not saying it was correct (don't know the rules) but it happens
  9. Are there any hour limitations for being on the lake or can you be out 24/7?
  10. I'm looking for a 10-10.5' kayak. If you have an extra laying around you'd be willing to sell, please let me know. I would probably prefer a SOT set up for fishing but am open to a sit-in and can customize it for fishing myself.
  11. Do you have a cash price in mind for the pistol?
  12. I have an 8 footer right simply for portability and storage. I can store it standing up in a closet or carry inside my Explorer (with all the doors and windows shut). I will say it is a lot slower than my old 9'6" yak because it is stubbier and less aerodynamic.
  13. Wow, old post back from the grave. ...if anyone is interested in an exploratory wade or float this spring, let me know.
  14. Fished there a lot in grade school. Would catch a lot of small bluegill and catfish. Would catch a decent 5+ pound cat every couple trips. Even caught a big a#$ turtle. Bea Tree Park in Oakville use to have a lot of bass and some big ones. VERY tough in summer, but you can definitely catch them in the Spring. Haven't been there in 5 years, but it'd be worth a visit. Westside Park in Fenton has a small lake, but I caught bass there on both occasions I visited 5-6 years ago. That's all I got
  15. I'm on the fence about the bean bags, but if I was to use them, I wouldn't give 'em more than one non-lethal. If an intruder doesn't get the idea after one "warning shot" there isn't time for a second.
  16. Absolutely. I just hate sighting it in when you have to shot 6-10 shots in a few minutes.
  17. I have the same gun (well a 110 with an Accutrigger) in 30.06. They are very accurate. ...300 Win Mag has got to hurt the shoulder. I hate shooting mine. Luckily it's only a few rounds a year.
  18. If that's the loser, I want to see the winner.
  19. P-line CX Premium on all my spinning rods Medium action and lighter.
  20. I tripped in Taney when working a nice rainbow in. I tell you what, when that water rushes into your waders it literally takes your breath away.
  21. I floated from Williams Landing to Two Rivers last year around that time. Jerktail was halfway, and there was a lot of partying going on there. Below that jetboats were everywhere. I wouldn't go there for seclusion.
  22. What a PIG!

We are going to be in kayaks, not canoes. Even so, the plan now is to just go to a put in and walk/paddle upstream and fish. Ended up not having enough trucks to shuttle the kayaks.
