  11. I went to the USGS site to see what is happening at Stockton and the banner at the top of the page was....... PLANNED UPGRADE: We will be upgrading software on all servers starting on Wednesday 8/7/2013. All real-time data will continue to be available at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis. WaterWatch maps will continue to be updated. My 48 years of working with and upgrading computers - tells me there will be "GLITCHES" .... so data may or may not be available for a while......

I don't know where you got this info but the MDC website http://mdc.mo.gov/fishing/regulations/general-fishing-rules/general-fishing-methods says :: """" Use of Lights As an aid to fishing methods, an artificial light may be used only above the water surface. However, while fishing by pole and line only, underwater lights may be used to attract fish. New! Underwater lights also may be used when bowfishing on lakes, ponds and other impoundments. """""
  18. WOW !!!!! Being a "twice-a-year-to-Beaver" fisherman::: THANK YOU !!!!!!! I can only get down there once in the spring and once in the fall but, excellent ideas for finding fish.. The one I use most is the one above -- "I tell people if they want stripers they are not hard to find just go out early and look for all the center consule boats with (STRIPER GUIDE) on them. Give them space but those guides are usually on active fish.." I always give the guides plenty of space and have never had problems with any of the guides..... Thanks again for all the data you provide to us less fortunate stripper chasers ......
