It's a sad thing to see - - but it could have been MUCH worse !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good to hear everybody is OK and you are not diving in 40 foot of water to try and get some of your gear back......

When worm/plastic fishing...I use the lightest weight that alows me to stay in contact with the structure that I'm fishing... With the Stockton winds , I useualy have to use a slightly heav'er weight to feel the structure.. Hooks = type is a personal preference but, size should be matched to the size of the lure.. I.E. don't use a 4/0 hook with a 4" bait... I carry 1/0 thru 5/0 hooks and use plastic from 4" to 12"...

OK – we are going fishing.... Is there going to be a “bragging” pot ??? Are the fish going to be weighed ??? What fish are eligible to be weighed ??? Is there a penalty for dead fish ??? What will happen to the fish after they are weighed ??? How long are we going to fish ??? What is going to happen after we fish ??? Are we going to launch our boats and then meet at the swimming beach ??? Will we have the meeting and then “launch & go” afterwards ??? How are we going to work around all the other people launching boats ??? ******************************************************************************* We don’t want to anger the normal Sunday traffic and have the word out that “if Ozark Anglers are having a fishing THING(?)” that they crowed out the normal lake traffic !!!!!!!!!!!! ******************************************************************** I’m sure others have questions , also........

My rods are like Nwltf's ... all but one came from the outlet store at BPS.... I have 3 $150 rods that I bought for $50 or less... all work great ( if I find the fish )......

I caught them on two different ones.. a 2" chrome Big-O ( runs about 4' ) and the other was a drum colored "Little Deep N" ( runs about 6' ) -- the fish were chasing minnows but, wouldn't hit one with a hook in it.......

Moved around a lot also caught 2 short smallmouth, 2 short largemouth, 1 drum and 2 walleyes 1= 22" & 3lbs the other was 17" 1.4lbs and a 2.5lb channel cat.... bass and drum were released back to the lake .... the walleye and catfish will be released into hot grease tomorrow nite.............. All on crankbaits... could not buy a hit on minnows ... fished main lake points around 215 bridge......from 30 minutes before till 30 minutes after sunrise.....

It is just over a year old... Purchased from Cabala's in March 2011... Totally LIKE NEW !!! It was never left on the boat, when not in use. Stored in the house. It was used on the tolling motor so the transom mount for the transducer is included. EVERYTHING that came with the unit is in the original box. The reason that I am selling it is that I finely found another 520 and now I can network the two together...... I paid $ 499 last year and I will sell to the first $ 320....

Great report... Stockton has a lot of wild life for the one that looks at something other than the end of their fishing rod.........

Sorry for the late entry..... I just wanted to thank btlides2short for the "shaky-head" lesson.... He put it on the spook.. the only topwater fish was a 13'er on a buzzbait... Good bass fish pardner !!

There were serveral items needed to coordinate with the state, the lake, and other outside people... It will take a while to get it all together..... But, we made a check list and FishBait3 has the ball and is running with it.....

There is a gas station/convence store (on 160) after you make the curve going in Everton that "used" to have minows but I don't have their number or know if they still carry minows..... That's the only place between willard and greenfield that I know about.....
