  1. Thats us and our fishing buddies. There is no chance in hell these guys are fishig buddies...rather guys just talking on the web. Little different than drinking beer farting out loud (or real soft and stinky and waiting for him to fall out of the boat) with your friends. Thats all im saying.
  2. Fishinwrench: I know where you were going...but..I hardly think these two guys are fishin' buddies by the tone of the exchange. He could have made his point with regressing to "douch bag." Believe me Thom and I have disagreed on many topics in the past, but we always treated eachother like gentlemen and once you call someone a douch bag where does it become unacceptable? Besides I don't want to read posts from guys just lobbing names at eachother. BORING.
  3. Never. Come on you shouldn't take a beating on a simple topic like this...it ain't healthcare or nothing.
  4. This was uncalled for. He didn't call you any names. I am understanding of your frustration as I don't spell check my poor spelling, but no need to call a member anything like this. You should apologize IMO.
  5. How about this. Get rid of these dams returning the White River to it's bass fishing glory days and replace this power with Nuclear Energy. My 2 cents
  6. I prefer to not pay the 10% sales tax here in town so I mail order my stuff.
  7. Maybe this forum is not dead after all
  8. I fished upper and lower Taneycomo Sunday Aug 9 and it was slow to say the least. We picked up a few fish trolling below Branson with spinners. We proceed down to Bull Creek where we started to encounter 70-78 degree water and found fishing very poor. What will trout do in these temperatures? Move up or down or die??? We fished Bull Creek and some other weed beds and found no bass bite either. It is too bad Trav doesn't report like he use to because we threw a lot of lures and had no bites.
  9. Nice reference since Francis was my favorite Stripes character (except for the mud wrestlers). I didn't suggest folks get "banned" but continually pissing off the contributors on here does me, us and the forum no good. Its called respect. If people want to rant against and bash the ones providing 95% of the fishing reports on the Table Rock Forum....then like I suggested before...Jerks!!
  10. So You: Work really hard to piss off guides who provide an invaluable service to the forum?
  11. I have been suspecting this was coming. Thanks to all of you.....(one might say jerks)....who work really hard to piss off guides who provide an invaluable service to this forum. Some of us like their information so we can take our kid's fishing. And back to the ORIGINAL TOPIC of tournament information seekers your the jerks I speak of mostly .

  13. Really I never know that. See them all the time and thought they were agents. Surely they have a knowledge of the regulations and the ability to call in an agent if infractions are occuring. Seems like a waste of money to pay TWO men to do a creel check and they run all the way from Scotty's for this and I've seem them go in and out a couple of times a day. Wow.
  14. I see the two agents in the boat almost every time I fish up there. Very surpirsed they didn't get checked. They usually approach you and ask if you will particapte in a survey. These guys will get caught eventually.
  15. Good looking dog man. Looks like a fun trip had by all.
  16. I would think that if your removing burning (smoke) that the cancer risk would be lower. Now the nicotine remains and is associated with heart disease. I would think lowering the cancer would be worth an elevated heart rate. IMO. I just wondering how this will do in the rain each weekend on Taneycomo. The biggest risk might be shock.
  17. I need to replace some plywood bench seats in my 14' richline v boat. What approach should I have on the waterproofing of these seats? Buy treated outdoor lumber and then urethane or non treated lumber and urethane?
  18. That would be great. Can I copy them possibly? My life pretty important
  19. Demitir's mysteriously burned down under somewhat shady circumstances. I guess the insurance finally paid as they rebuilt the floating restraunt which eventually became???...........................Bass Pro Shop's White River Fish Company. The best food in the area? Papouli's in Reed Spring. IMO as all the food is made from scratch. If you want to spend an arm and two legs Outback Steak House (not the chain) is good, but too high IMO. There is suppose to be a dining place in a hotel that has a very highly regarded prime rib sandwhich and I forget the name (seems like he is a retired baseball pro named Jack) Can someone help me?
  20. My back was really sore on day two after two six hour days in the ultimate. Thought the raised seat might mitigate that. And yes I felt like I was down in a hole. I'm sure some people love the seated stable position, but I have never fished like this in my life and I felt really uncomfortable and I couldn't imagine trying to fly fish like that. All My Opinions of course.
  21. August 21-28. Can't wait. Lotta gear to get together though.
  22. Yep what Zander said. Only thing is now my fonts on the forum are ultra small. Guess I'll just get closer to the monitor. Thanks guys. Sorry to point blame at the forum unjustly so.
  23. First of all we are glad you are here. Do you have the seat riser? Curious how much better that makes it.
  24. I'm just using internet explorer. To my knowledge I haven't changed a thing, but i could check what my settings are if you give me instructions and it did just start happening recently.
  25. FYI we are staying at Thunderbird Lodge. Do you have any guide recommendations? We are considering one the first few days.
