I was looking at the website of applications the other day. Who was approved and who was denied and whatnot if you want a good laugh...take a look at some of the names of the businesses that applied...I can’t remember any right now...but some were pretty funny success rate of those that applied was about 5 percent

Ah...I see no, I can barely cast a size 12 elk hair caddis on my sage 5 weight...
-
Message delay...I just saw your post about the dremel and foam...we must have been posting at same time.
-
Thats like my favorite bait...I use a white torpedo for white bass in grand lake all the time...catch more than my share on it But I’m not sure what makes that special because even I can tie a feather treble
-
I think potatoes are good idea...he mentioned corn as number one but didn’t give any specifics im on the double rows...that’s my plan...did you check out that drip depot site? i ain’t growing okra or squash...besides the ornamental type for my wife. I don’t really like to eat either...so why grow it? I do like carrots tho...might add some carrots to my cucumber row

We went back again tonight...trying to teach my son to tow a boat...launch it himself and all that tommy rot. He’s doing good...he needs the boating license though so I plan to have him do it this weekend online we’re catching quite a few small bass...water temp is 64...we didn’t even try for crappie tonight. the fish seemed slower tonight but we still caught several...I assume because it’s supposed to freeze tonight...we’re having fun...and it’s pretty sweet to have a driver the youngest went tonight too...he caught more than either of us...it was pretty cold once the sun went down Oldest is scouting for turkeys too...he bought a license...and a tag. I didn’t. Ks is close to us...closer than our better turkey spot. So hopefully he can figure it out...wish I had the setup he has as an 18 year old...I need to fix that marker light on the trailer...gosh I hate to bother wrench again ✌️

i hear ya...I think Iowa weather might be worse than Missouri weather...changes a lot we’ve got a frost warning tonight in Joplin.
-
I think they’re fun to hunt...probably enjoy it more than duck hunting. Weather is sure a lot better i agree with oneshot...I don’t think there are near as many around as there was 10 or 15 years ago. Never attributed it to coons eating the eggs...but I guess that makes sense

Dambdest thing...back window went up just fine when we got home. You better hope we don’t have a tooth paste shortage with all those onions and garlic
-
We did ok...had a problem with his back window...it doesnt want to go up...so didn’t stray very far...but managed to catch a few. Sight fishing for crappie
-
Switched vehicles...hooked up sons Jeep to it. Going to teach him about trailering the boat...he’s always helped back boat in and pull boat out...but this is first time he’s been the captain of the tow vehicle...I better pack some green ones so I stay calm going to Kansas to the pits
-
Hang in there and don’t jump the canyon on your motor bike...hopefully something else...take care
-
Tell your son thank you...the volunteers made all the difference in the world

Looks good...glad you got the tiller going again so soon i made three passes on mine tonight. I think I’ve got room for 5 double rows...10 total of corn at 25 feet. 2 seeds every foot. I bought 500 seeds...so should work perfect then I have 3 additional rows 1 for cucumbers and sweet peppers 2 for pole beans plan to use welded wire for cucumbers and the beans figure about 24 - 30 inches between rows...one wide swathe with the tiller

This is the quote that I was referring to...it took me an hour to find it. I think it’s the best post ever on Ozark anglers. Coldwaterfshr was replying to a post in January 2011...someone was looking for advice on which 3 bass rods he should buy to use on table rock He said...only 3 rods...that’s tough. I’ll give it a try Spinnerbait/buzzbait rod : a 7'3 Funeral Blakemore boron infinite-dynamic action pitching stick in negative sheen matte black (it actually absorbs light waves and certain radio frequencies), trigger grip sawed off and retrofitted with a Hearst dyna-glide shifter mated to a Diagon Centripedex 9.0:1 titanimum tricked out with depleted uranium bearings to keep the heat down. Freshest born-on-date Spiderwire in 17 lb test of course. Crankbaitin rod: a 8'9 Montgomery Ward fiberglass/porcelain hybrid, med-heavy action foam grip paired with a Zebco Diamond Anniversary 404 encrusted w/ 42 carat cubit zirconia and diamelles throughout. Drag customized with Mickey Thompson high friction rubber, and Shizweki paddles. Maxima 12 lb green in Chameleon Blue (factory prototype not available to the general public) Wormin rod (heavy cover): a 17 weight warped pool cue borrowed from the Twilight Inn (Springfield, MO - 1989), custom carved into a 5'4 foot medium-light action w/ pistol grip in high grade cork and top of the line ceramic guides. Tiger-flamed the entire length for extra badass aesthetics and mojo, and air-brushed in black-light glow paint with lots of lewd and semi-topless women in various states of undress. Mermaids with long hair covering their unmentionables and stuff. But tastefully done. Mated to that would be a custom Les Paul Ambassadeur reel, the first and best one they ever made and tricked out with a drag dial that goes all the way to ELEVEN.

Ya...me too. Some of his old stuff was great. He was an equipment guru...when it came to bass fishing rods. That pool cue from the starlight lounge he cut down for his spinnerbait rod...was awesome

That thing is adjustable...can do 1 to 3 seeds at a time it says...I guess we’ll see. I’ll probably end up with 5 dollars an ear corn...might be the most expensive sweet corn ever...but it’ll give me something to do. Hobbies are always expensive
-
I bought one of these...probably unnecessary but I think it will help with spacing...might save a back ache too https://www.easydigging.com/garden-seeders/jab-planter.html

It shipped direct from one of their vendors but farm supplies are essential

I ordered a small part for my garden cart Thursday or Friday of last week off amazon...and got it today. It was Just one of those retainer clips that go on the axle to hold the tire on...I’m such a bad mechanic...I didn’t even put it back on correctly after replacing the tires 2 weeks ago. I was moving dirt for raised beds and looked down and it was missing...so bit the bullet and ordered 2...$6.36 for them...seemed like a bargain I was shocked to get it so quick...came out of Florida too...free shipping

My grandpa favored beechnut...I try to keep a pack in the boat. Good luck with the tiller
