  1. The winning weight was 22.19. We had 2 over 6 lbs. Top 3 places were around 13 lbs
  2. Well from what I learned today is that you had to be in muddy water to catch fish. It seemed that most were in and around docks and they either hit it on the first pitch or they didnt hit it at all. You have to let them take it for a second before setting the hook or you would loose part of your trailer. Jigs seemed to be the ticket of the day, no fish on a spinnerbait but a a worm had a couple and a buzzbait had one.
  3. I have a fully rigged hoyt mt sport with copper john sights and a whisker bisqut. It comes with a 6" doinker stablizer and a release along with 5 gold tip arrows and 3 rage broadheads. $275 obo.. email me and I will send you the pics, they are too big to upload
  4. I love how you photo shopped your bait out brett!
  5. Put in at State Park yesterday and went to town on the bass. The deep water bite seems to be extremly well. All our fish came off of soft plastics in about 20' of water. Started out yesterday with a 5 lber on the first cast. But after it got dark, we only caught one fish and had only 2 bites. We got off the water at 11 pm.
  6. The last place I found them was around old 86 about 2 weeks ago, They were chasing shad in the evenings but I havent seen them since.
  7. We went up the White around campebell point. It was a busy place it seemed. I was one of the last boats to put on the trailer. I have a black and blue stratos with a 225 pro xs on it
  8. The smallmouth bite stopped but the largemouth bit good. Had 4 fish that went almost 8. Only had two good ones bite today but thats how it goes with 300 boats on the water.
  9. The pattern I ran all weekend was throwing jigs on pea gravle points that have chunk rock mixed in on them and then for largemouth was throwing a yellow magic all day long on the back sides of boat docks and on the corners on the back.
  10. I have been fishing the last couple of days trying to find a stable pattern for the Anglers in Action tourney and have finally found one that has held up for the last two days. It has held true from the dam to up the white. After this weekend I will post whats goin on and some pics. Today I had 2 smallies in the 4-5 lbs range as my biggest and the rest were in the 2-3 lbs range with several keepers mixed in.
  11. Im thinking a 5.75 lb largie from the Kimberling city area
  12. where do you get your crickets?
  13. I am wanting to catch a bunch of white bass for a fish fry over Memorial day weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for them and what to be doing?
  14. I will be fishing it with Kevin Clingan
  15. I was up there two weeks ago and put in at the state park? what ever the ramp is right by the dam. Caught lots of crappie right there just down from the ramp on the left, there is a small little mud/sand flat with some brush on it in about 15'. If you do down to the warsaw harbor, there is a big flat across the river from the harbor, troll it for walley and white, try a #5 glass shad rap in a blue or green or a #7 regular shad rap in the same colors. Oh and take MINNOWS!!! Fish for the crappie early, cause the bigger ones bit early and the whites and walleye bit better around noon. Thats from one Willow boy to another. Tell the old man hi for me. Drew
  16. Who all is fishing the Anglers in Action this Saturday?
  17. When do the smallmouth start to spawn?
  18. Are you guys using tubes or minnows? how are you guys fishing them? I will be up there sunday fishing in the gravois arm, any suggestions?
  19. A good rule of thumb is the second to third week in April is the prime time for mushrooms. Its still a little too chilly for them at night. Once the ground temps get warmed up they will be popping. I am going to stockton next weekend to start my hunt for them along with the crappie. And Bill, I think the crappie on Lake O stay shallow year round up there for some unknow reason. I cuaght them last year in the end of Feb on jerkbaits around the docks in 10' of water.
  20. You know, another person we need to apologize to is Bill. He is the moderator of this site and catchs crap from everybody. He has to put up with all that goes on here and sort through everything to try and make people happy, which is an impossible job. People need to relax and take others fishing reports with a grain of salt. People need to grow up and stop worring about what another person did or said. We are not in high shcool people, so leave the drama out. People like Bill and Gone Fishing and everybody else are on this forum for one reason, fishing. Just because one person said they caught them this way or that way and caught so many means nothing. Just because someone caught them and you didnt means nothing. There is a theory of being at the right place at the right time and it happens. So just look at the patterns of what people are doing and not take them word for word. Most people arent going to give up their complete pattern. Just take it as a ball park starting point and do what you do best, find the fish on your own! Bill and Gone Fishing, I apoligize for the immaturity level of others. People need to loosen up and not take things so serious. Thats my $.02 worth.
  21. I will be in a black and blue stratos with a 225 pro xs. I will be fishing sunday against you so if you see give give me a shout!
  22. I'm starting to carry fire crackers with me! If people get close enough to me that I can drop them in their boat then they deserve it! I had one guy get close enough that we could have shook hands! I know the feeling!
  23. Where is the Blunk hole from Cape Fair?
