Funny how some of the giant browns fall to someone who is not targeting them. I believe the previous world record (before that Great lakes tributary brown) that was caught in AR came on a Velveeta cheese ball. I believe the current WR brown was caught by someone targeting salmon.

Never have heard of anyone getting a brown down lake. They must not wander as much as the rainbows.

Shoveled off my driveway yesterday, now it has a nice coating of ice. I doubt I could get my boat out of the garage, let alone to a lake. Looks like a few more days of this weather and then we're in the clear.

Couple inches on the ground from yesterday and it's snowing again today. But it looks like at the end of the week this cold weather pattern will finally break.

I have a hard time with those feathered trebs also. I guess a guy could swap them out. Have to see how it works for ab before making any decisions.

Yep I agree with ab. I like the looks of that jig head. I'll be fishing it once the water warms up, I'm thinking of tipping it with a lizard or a craw.

Yep that all is true, just curious if anyone has seen any dying or struggling shad on Table Rock.

Saw a post where someone mentioned that shad are starting to come though Bull Shoals dam into the White river. Just wondering if the shad kill has started on Table Rock.
