  1. I found a bunch of "private" brush piles this winter when the water was low and clear. Marked them on the GPS. I have more spots to fish in a day than I have time to fish.
  2. Well I was hoping you'd ship some, too far for me to drive to SE MO. When I lived in WA state, used to go east over the mountains in the spring to trout fish. When the fruit trees are blooming there's not enough bees to pollinate them, so there's folks that are in the business of bringing bee hives over and temporarily setting the hives in the orchards.
  3. Lots of tennis shoes.
  4. That's some great fishing, thanks for the report!
  5. Cool mornings this week may keep the crazies off the water until later. (Hopefully).
  6. Thanks for the report, looks like water temps have dropped a bit and we have a couple of more cool days coming.
  7. You going to ship your honey to buyers, or will it be local pick up only?
  8. Ahhh, in other words, NITWITS, I'd rather deal with vampires.
  9. Vampires?
  10. I'm beginning to appreciate winter fishing on the Rock.
  11. I cross the River by the camp ground when I go over to Table Rock, never see many fishermen in that area, so I'm assuming the trout fishing is further upstream?
  12. Saw these on the BPS web site. Put a sinker on it and you have a sliding Jika rig. http://www.basspro.com/Team-Catfish-Sinker-Slides/product/1208170217/#
  13. My grandparents on my mother's side were from Kennett MO, not far from Paragould. Church twice on Sundays and on Wednesday night. No alcohol, cussin' or card playing. My granddad fished occasionally with a black man, he referred to him as "Nxxxx Joe". Attitudes were sure different back in those days. But at least in that regard, we've changed for the better. BTW, Kennett is Cheryl Crowe's hometown.
  14. Those are some quality bass, congrats!
  15. How big was Doc's PB? Were you guys fishing after dark? Sorry to hear the big 'eyes got away, did you get them close enough to see them?
  16. Deen had a new cookbook coming out, one with healthier recipes. Supposed to be published this fall, it is the #1 seller on Amazon (pre-order). Well the publisher, Ballantine Books, has announced they will not publish the book. Ballantine Books is now on my jackass list. Now we've reached a point where, figuratively speaking, we're burning books?
  17. Saw this on TW, nice little video on fishing a deep crank. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/vlogpage.html?ccode=VLOG242
  18. Based on the results so far, I'm expecting good fishing next week.
  19. Nice bunch of 'eyes!
  20. What do you guys think, first part of next week, high temps predicted to be in the 70's. I'm hoping this improves the bass fishing, but then again I'm concerned the change may shut them down for a few days.
  21. Good on you Josh. Hope this guy finds out and gets his stuff back.

    Nba Draft

Don't think I've ever seen a draft where there was so little promise seen in the players by the pundits. I don't know if it's because the pundits are overly critical or if the players drafted are really that mediocre at best.
  23. Yeah with this summer heat the play toys are out earlier in the morning now. Yesterday by 9 AM the wake fest was going full tilt.
  24. Yes it does make sense to me to have the players discuss things. I think one big mistake made in this whole process was to draw a map showing boundaries. People within those boundaries see a potential for government interference or regulation. Would have been much better IMO to have left the boundary map out of this.
