Of course the NFL will have to participate in this new league concept. Or the NFL could start drafting high school seniors, like MLB does. The NFL could set up a minor league, teams draft HS kids and put them in the minor league for development. Kids drafted would then have a choice, sign a contract to play in the minor league/NFL or accept a scholarship and play college ball. Pretty much how college baseball works now.

Just re-read my post, I meant to say coming out of high school into the new league. If the NCAA doesn't get their act together, I could see something like this happening. As I said before there's just too much money sloshing around.

That would be interesting, a private football league for kids coming out of college.

Yeah I would like to see Johnny Football play against Alabama. It will be a bummer if he gets benched. NCAA is going to have to do something as far as players being able to make money off their images. There's just too much money sloshing around college football, players are going to want some of it.

Little Sugar here In BV was way up two days ago, out of the banks and a red clay color to the water. Dropped quite a bit yesterday and cleared some, but it was still up. Saw a couple in a canoe floating McKissic creek yesterday, first time I've seen a canoe on that creek, but it was high enough to float.

First Hawgs game I would consider watchable is the 9/21 game at Rutgers.

Here in Bella Vista, Little Sugar is out of it's banks (as of yesterday) and is running red, same color as red clay. Ugly looking.

Yeah they need a bat or two. Tejada is hitting .300 but they don't play him that often. Looked at the standings today, Royal have won 9 of the last 10, but so have Cleveland and Detroit.

I'm thinking about fishing something different from where I usually fish and maybe launching out of the Cape Fair COE park. Is there a dock at the ramp? Ramp in good shape? Looking at the map, since I'll be coming in from the west on HWY 76, it looks like I can take a right on Peebles Point RD off 76, then a left on Batter Sea Park RD which will take me to the park - is that right? Other option would be to drive into Cape Fair and double back on 76-82. Thanks
