  1. PD and F&F, walleye - NEVER!!!
  2. Thanks for the advice Bill, I might make it up there Friday. Time for some new water.
  3. That's what I'm waiting to see, what happens when future opponents watch the game film and make adjustments. Will his offense still work in a few weeks? I hope so, it was fun to watch.
  4. 21 -17, Bama.
  5. Should be some nice weather in 3 weeks.
  6. I don't remember him talking about it much, but I know he ran trotlines every once in a while. When I was a kid gramps would take me down to the river outside of Kennett, we'd tramp through the woods to some waterholes that had been left behind by high water and catch a channel cat or two. I haven't been to Kennett in about 10 years, last time I was there they had really cleaned all of the snags out of the St. Francis. Used to be full of timber outside of Kennett.
  7. It was fun to watch, but as said above, will it work without Vick? I'll be surprised to see Vick last more than about 10 games.
  8. 2 bass total, both came early on a Megabug. Fished jigs, drop shot, worms, and even tossed a top water around. A couple of light biters, but nothing to the boat. Where's the cooler weather? I've had enough of this 90 degree stuff. Oh well, time for a nap.
  9. Looks like one of those GYCB jerkbaits. Thanks for the reminder (not).
  10. Quit raining on our parade.
  11. It's a top water, walk the dog type lure. Made by Lucky Craft. I think just about all the major tackle sellers carry them. Here's a link: http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Lucky_Craft_Gunfish/descpage-LCGUN95.html
  12. My granddad, who lived in Kennett MO, used to fish Reelfoot back in the 60's. There wasn't a bridge over the Mississippi nearby at the time so they'd take a ferry across the river, if I recall, they brought their outboard, but rented a boat. They'd go over in the evening, fish all night, all the next day then come home. They'd catch a lot of fish (crappie and bream) but would always complain that on average the fish were a bit small. I never have fished it, but I've heard lots of stories.
  13. Thanks for the report, I'm a bit of a Gunfish fan myself, had several good mornings on one back in early summer.
  14. What, you're not predicting a Chiefs Super Bowl this year based on this one game??
  15. Pretty evenly matched, from a historical perspective.
  16. Please, no more jerkbaits....But I do have to say that it looks intriguing.
  17. October 13, Raiders at the Chiefs. Circle the date.

Next Saturday is the Bama at A&M game..
  19. It's been 3 years since I've used any bait, not that I have anything against it and I'll use it again in the future. Just mainly have been bass fishing, except for a couple of trips to Sardis MS to catch crappie and we pulled plugs to catch those. Maybe next spring I'll get some redworms and catch some bluegill and redear, we've got some good ones in the Bella Vista lakes.
  20. That Sunline is supposed to be the primo stuff, you'll have to let us know what you think.
  21. Welcome, Champ! I don't know if we can deal with having 2 Champs, dealing with one has been bad enough Good luck on your upcoming trip.
  22. Thanks for the report.
  23. You got to like it!
  24. Bugs and suds - good combo!

Samford was leading going into the 4th quarter? Samford??? Sheeesh.. Bielama better kick some butt. I'm seeing a few chinks in the SEC armor. Florida loses to Miami, last week Clemson beat GA, but GA beats #6 SC. That GA tailback, Gurley, is a load.
