Great find. I believe that the BBQ chain called Bandana's has that mustard sauce too.

    Tuesday Am

Techo: Had the same issue with my trailer, maybe not that brand matters, but my fuse in the truck was blowing out (20a mini). Talked to the top nothch mechanice and he said to search for a brown or red wire with a bare spot in it. So I did, laid on my back for an 30 minutes. Low and behold there it was, a huge bare spot, brand new boat and trailer! Wrapped some electical tape around it for a quick fix and no more fuse problems. That short or bare spot was near where the wire entered the metal tubing most of the wires run in for protection! Probably rubbed itself off. GOod report! Later.

    Bryant Creek

Fished the Bryant near 95 slab; caught 6 wading the creek in about 2 1/2 hours. Boy what a difference the high water can make. Especially how it can move some gravel. All smallmouth on a variety: tubes, cranks, and top water. Nothing big all around 12-14 inches, but all were fat and fighters no doubt.
  6. M4P: I would say it would depend on the bank you were fishing, but try to move shallow when darkness falls.
  7. Okay, usually don't brag about stuff like this, but I recently PURCHASED a new pair of Costa Del Mar's from an unknown local retailer because I just so happened to have a siginificant portion of funds available on the ole' christmas gift card. Anyway, purchased the Hammerhead series, white frames, amber lenses. Let me tell you these are the baddest pair of sun glasses I have worn, and I am stating there is no comparison.

    New Show

Okay maybe I am not up to date on cabel packages, but I do have HD TV and noticed 22 new channels including the WFN? They call it the World Fishing Network or something to that effect? Anyway, someone here have some feed back, I did notice the FLW was on and got to see local HERO JR Beehler go to work against Jay Yelas (old program?).
  9. How come there is only 80 boats to fish a tournament that pays back 100% of the cash or nearly $8,000 to the winner this past weekend!!! Holy mackeral what a pay back!

  13. MOBass: That is the true mystery, but also the most fun and rewarding, the when, where and how!
  14. Bill: What is a "Swimbait"?
  15. I searched, but couldn't find anything related to "The Shoe", you weren't throwin' a pencil bait were ya, those babies are at least 7" long and will were ya out!

    Long Wait

I waited over an hour to get a cheese burger over the weekend at the Clam in Kim City, other anglers experienced the same thing. Anyone know what was goind on? They didn't seem to busy, of course the wait increased the amount of cocktails we drank so maybe there is some logic to this... P.S. It was a mighty fine burger, or maybe cause I was really hungry!
  17. CnG: I have heard of this tactic more on Bull Shoals than the Rock, but others on here will know for sure.
  18. Vernon, OMTT tournament is the only thing I know of going out down at the bottom of the hill on Saturday. Weigh In starts at 3pm. So, if you put in before that you will be fine, if you don't mind somewhat limited parking. Hope this helps.

    Crappie

Sorry Walleye I have not been, try the boys at Osage Bait and Tackle they can usually steer you in the right direction.
  20. Managed to pull a limit this weekend w/out minnows, not very easy. Fish were spread out, catching one or two good ones per spot, slow reeling a chart/blk road runner or swimmin' minnow in chart. Fish were mostly shallow, but typically at the mouths of the spawning cuts. I keep hearing of shallow big fish up the osage guess I will have to try it. Water temps. started at 58 then by afternoon low 60s, things have to get moving. We fished the glaize and will keep waiting.
  21. Techo: Apologies for being a little slow...when you say the right side are you talking about the shallow ramp (splits the pockets) or the Schooner creek side?
  22. Techo: Thanks for the report, I want to do the exact same this weekend, but a friend "who is a guide" said the water was over the road there?? I am use to paying $5 bucks!!!
  23. Did the region get significant rain fall last night? Also, can you still put in over at KC 13 ramp? I know the pay ramp road is underwater, but what about there by Skiers Warf?
  24. Did anyone see this show on TV last night? They take several people at drop them in different places, they must hike to a small cabin with limited supplies, once there they must endure for 3mos.? What I thought was interesting was watching them try to catch salmon.
  25. That is quite a few, plus the practice, fishing pressure was at an all time high.
