  1. Chris, what area of the state are you?
  2. I'm a member but I don't post updates. I do follow people and companies I'm interested in. Phil, from your standpoint, I think it would be a valuable marketing tool (or any guides for that matter). Everyone on this board would probably follow you whether it's a report from Taney or Alaska. I think it would be pretty cool to hear you had just landed a monster King and there was a grizzly 100 yards away in real time!
  3. Definitely. Switched over a couple years ago and would never go back!
  4. Do you have any more pictures Seriously though, If I didn't already have one this looks like a decent deal!
  5. Actually the US eagle logo will remain the same and the new logo will be outside the US (at least that's what is being said for now). I'm afraid the guillotine blade has been sharpened and is being rolled out into the town square as we speak. Good luck and prayers to all AB employees involved.
  6. ollie, my daughter's laptop caught this within the first week of going to college this Fall. It is a real #$%&@! The computer spent a week with the university technicians who ended up handing it back and saying that she should erase the hard drive. Wasn't willing to give up, I spent a lot of time and trial trying to remove it. Finally ended up with Malwarebytes Anti-malware program which appears to have done the trick <fingers crossed>. No problems since installing it two months ago. Hope this helps. Click here Malwarebytes PS: I just used the free download version.
  7. I've never shot a dog but I wish someone would shoot my neighbor's pitbull. Are any of you doggy-assassins-for-hire?
  8. Al, I've never heard anyone say that they "don't like horses." That's kinda like saying you don't like puppies or chocolate Anyhoo, I've heard several mention culling...aren't those critters protected by federal law?
  9. no problems here. who's your ISP?
  10. Wow Al. Glad everyone is alright. Which access was this?
  11. I wanna hear more about the cute moss cutter.
  12. Honestly you guys, the mud slinging is only gonna get worse for the next 50+ days. Both sides are so full of it that it makes me sick. The campaign managers are spinning meaningless topics out of control. If we're going to judge candidates based on their own morals and ethics, all four have weaknesses. Read. Study the issues. Avoid the lame radio and tv talk shows. Read. Decide what issues align with your own thoughts and beliefs. There are many critical ones for this election. Go into the booth and pull the lever for that party. Peace out.
  13. Wow, $6M??? Looks like Premier Bank is gonna own a trout stream for awhile. Seems like Quint had a heckofa time selling it around $3M ... didn't it take 5 years or so?
  14. Depends on your definition of "problematic." If meth-induced psychosis is your cup-o-tea, then you'll do just fine. It's those darn cottonmouths ya gotta look out for
  15. Naw, I was just playin off your previous post.
  16. Yep, bryozoans. I've heard they taste like chicken. Here's a pic at the bottom of page 3. http://www.mdc.mo.gov/documents/conmag/2007/20070601.pdf
  17. Good posts. The beer world has seen unprecedented changes in the past couple of years for sure. Whether we like it or not, we are in a global economy for many, many reasons. Some American cars are produced in Mexico/Canada and some foreign cars are produced in America. This is now a reality for us. But it really doesn't make sense to me to "boycott" a certain American brand because shares of stock switched hands. Prior to InBev's offer, ABs largest shareholder was already overseas (Barclays UK). Anheuser-Busch, Miller and Coors products are and will always be brewed in America by Americans. Boycotting Budweiser, because of a financial transaction and a weakened dollar that even the Busch family couldn't prevent, will only hurt American employees and their families.
  18. I floated it on Thursday and Friday. It rained really hard on Thursday night. The river was up a good 3 feet, fast and muddy. Maybe it's gone down a lot since.
  19. Let's see Al...you are your own boss, can work from anywhere in the world, spend a hundred days on the stream a year, have a wife who loves the outdoors and urges YOU to buy a cabin on 20 acres in Montana. Some would say you have reached the level of enlightenment, a fisherman's Nirvana! Have you taken your Dad there yet?
  20. And those ticks aren't ordinary ticks, they're all carriers of the fever. Every last one of em. And the mosquitoes there aren't ordinary mosquitoes, they all carry malaria. And the poison ivy there...
  21. Hey WJ, as long as you're casting floating Powerbait upstream (or in this case, north of the fountain) only to fish feeding on the surface, it's all good! PS: Got any good trout recipes?
  22. With both Montauk and Bennett, you have the trout park which offers ample opportunity for your friends to get into fish. And if you desire less of a circus atmosphere, just walk 1/2 mile outside of the park and it'll just be you, fish and an otter or Bald Eagle.
  23. Honestly, if your buddies have limited knowledge and you're limited to shore fishing, a place like Bennett or Montauk might fit your needs well. I've fished both the Norfork and White and if generation is full bore and you don't have a boat, you're SOL! Inexperienced boaters on those waters would also be well advised to hire a guide as it's not water you want to learn on!
  24. Ham, maybe he did exactly that...the fish was real, the location was not
  25. Al, you are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with us.
