  1. I believe it airs on Sunday mornings. Bret and max are great guys. Hopefully Bret will chime in with more information on times, stations, and region.
  2. Awesome fish Parkerhollow! There's nothing better than a big smallie!
  3. Nice Jim... That's a chunk
  4. Man that's a steal on that rod! If that was a M instead of a MH I'd be all over it!
  5. That thing has caught a fish or two
  6. Welcome Ed! Look forward to having you around
  7. Darn... Now I need to place another order! This thread is killing me. We have some talented folks on this board!
  8. Those are looking Sweet Dave!!
  9. Very cool Jim! Good luck!
  10. Man I want to fish that place! Looks so good... Congrats those are two nice ones!
  11. Let me know... I'll come in and check them out if you do!
  12. Good thing cause our dock is one of those Thanks for the tips everyone
  13. I'm interested in trying some crawfish trapping on Lake of the Ozarks this year and I know a lot of guys at Table Rock do this quite a bit... So give me some suggestions on... - Traps you like (can be bought or made) - Time of year and time of day - Locations for trap placement - Options for baiting the traps Hoping to get 2 or 3 traps so I can set them out in multiple locations. Possibly willing to build some, but mostly looking to buy. Wanting to try this for 2 reasons... Get some new ideas for seasonal colors so we can pour some craws to match the hatch and possibly trap enough to do a small crawfish boil with the family while we are at the lake house for a weekend. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
  14. Daaaammmmnn!!! That is an awesome spot!!!! I wish more of them got to this size! What a tank!
  15. Man you have been on them this winter! Awesome stuff!
  16. I know I've caught some 17+" spots out of LOZ but I don't have pictures. Here are some 16+" that I was able to get pics of. I really enjoy catching spots over 15"... Unfortunately most of the ones I catch are much smaller than that... A-Rig, Buzzbait, and Fluke... Fall into early winter seems to be the best time to catch nice spots on LOZ... My biggest river spots were probably around 15-16"
  17. No this one... But the red one is nice too
  18. Just a heads up in case anyone here is planning on attending tomorrow morning.... This is primarily an outside event as our Craw Shack is rather small... So dress accordingly. We'll have a fire going outside and some hot coffee to try and help.
  19. These are all beautiful.... but that bottom right RK Crawler gets my blood pumping!!! I want at least 4 of those... BAD!!! Well done!!!
  20. The guys are raving about how much fun they had today and what a great guy you are Bret! I gotta be there next time! Looking forward to it!!
  21. Thanks Rockhopper! Can't wait to see what they can do on the East Coast!!
  22. Tackle HD - OPEN HOUSE EVENT!!! We've had several people reach out to us and ask if there was a way to purchase our products in person... Well we are excited to announce that we will be doing our first Open House event out at our Craw Shack this upcoming Saturday, January 28! We will be there from 8 am until noon... 6747 Pond Ford Rd. St. Clair, MO 63077 (Some may know this area as Frogs Landing just below the old 30 bridge on the Meramec River) If you are free, stop by and see us... Even if you don't buy anything! We'd love to meet some OAF folks! If you aren't able to make it, don't worry... we hope to do these periodically in the future. We should have some donuts and coffee. And we'll be able to accept cash or card. Hope to see you there!
  23. Not so fast... We have a rock pile near us that holds some DANDY crappie in the spring. Pre-Spawners stage on it for some reason... Its almost a surefire spot. Dock with lots of brush is near by though
  24. If I remember correctly the offshore bite was unreal when they were there cause they were pulling a ton of water. So it's crazy not to see more of them catching them deep. But like Watson said, it takes time time and patience to find them deep. In this format they really don't have the ability to do that. They just have to chase the easy 1 to 2 pounders and hope for a bigger one. I also found it funny that Watson said he's never fished LOZ after Memorial Day. I don't buy that ;).... You'd think he'd have a few deep history spots that he could've tried. Usually only takes a few casts to know if they are there and willing to bite.
