  1. Are you running actual STEEL BELTED RADIAL TRAILER TIRES, or STEEL BELTED RADIAL AUTOMOTIVE TIRES ? The outer edge of automotive tires will roll on their side ( AS THE SIDE WALLS ARE NOT AS FIRM ) during high speed turns & wear as you are describing. You can attempt to get away with automotive tires in a trailer application by either running much higher PSI ( AROUND 50 to 60 PSI ) of air pressure in the tire but in reality this can be very dangerous depending on load & not recommended or, put tubes in the tires & run 50 to 60 PSI air pressure. Not a guaranteed fix, but again depending on load may fix your problem. I am going to guess as you said the problem is just on the drivers side that you " DO NOT HAVE A TIRE PROBLEM " unless you are like the NASCAR GUY'S & only make left turns. Probably as ozarkgunner said a bent axle. Find a trailer & or automotive shop that can measure CAMBER - CASTER - & TOE IN on both wheels & you will know for sure. I would also suggest you have them check for a bent wheel or hub. Good luck !!!!!!!
  2. Billfo: Looks very similar, only difference I see from the picture is the pump inlet on mine is @ 6 o'clock ( POINTS STRAIGHT DOWN ) rather than 1 o'clock. I would assume just a later model with a design change or 2. You don't have to do anything to it after it's initial operation, depending on a few variables you may have to prime it for it's initial operation, but once it's up & running your done.
  3. Billfo: Guess it all depends on what you call cheap. Purchased it @ LOWE'S in Hollister, MO. it is classified as a " TRANSFER PUMP " & if my memory serves me right about $70.00. Happy to show it to you, if you would like to lay your eyes upon it let me know.
  4. I can't tell you if you can or can't or should or should not. My guess ( & IT IS JUST A GUESS ) is that it is a brace for the front casting deck. As far as fraying your line, go to a golf shop ( MAY FIND THAT A SPORTING GOODS STORE LIKE ACADEMY CARRIES THEM ) get some of the plastic tubes that slide into a golf club bag ( GOLF CLUB SHAFT SLIDES INTO THE TUBE ) cut them off @ whatever length works best, drill holes in the plywood slightly larger ( TUBE SHOULD FIT SNUGLY INTO HOLE ) than the OD of the tube, slobber some good glue on them, slide them in place, let them dry, your done. Call " SHARKY " ( KEITH SINKCLEAR ) @ 1-417-243-5164 @ the BPS ( BRANSON ) TRACKER BOAT CENTER & ask him if you can or can't or should or should not !!!!!!!
  5. I have seen several folks have good results & achieve their goals for change by using www.change.org Once again I will suggest that if you truly want to be heard & get results, give it a try.
  6. The USACOE inspect my boat-dock each & every year for a number of things, including each & every electrical outlet for proper installation & operation. Everyone of our outlets is a GFCI TYPE OUTLET & they use a tester on each & everyone both in the boat-stalls & out @ the fish-cleaning station. Several years ago they sent us a registered letter & E-MAIL advising us that we could no longer use a submersible type pump in any manner @ our boat-dock. So, prior to their inspection that year I removed the old submersible type pump & installed a new 120 volt self-priming pump up on the boat-dock walk-way underneath the fish cleaning table. Easy & simple, drill a 1 inch hole in the walk-way, place a 3/4 inch pvc pipe down through the hole to below the water surface, connect the 3/4 inch pvc pipe to the pump inlet & plug the pump into a switch controlled GFCI OUTLET. Connect a garden hose to the pump outlet & you are done. No priming required & never an issue with freezing @ least not yet as the lake here @ our location has never gotten that cold.
  7. Phil: If we are close enough to you ( AS I AM ) can we just stop by your place & pick them up, that is how I got my original orange ones.
  8. Here you go: BASS PRO SHOPS LONG CREEK MARINA 1-417-334-4860 www.bassproshopslongcreekmarina.com
  9. Every time I have purchased them ( VMC BARBARIANS ) I did so @ CABELA'S. According to there WEB-SITE www.cabelas.com they have them in stock in sizes 2 - 4 - 6 & in colors black & red. I have used them for years, they are a good quality hook & can be hard to find.

Just a suggestion, if you want to start a petition that has a good chance of achieving want you want I would suggest a visit to www.change.org I have nothing to do with this organization but over the years I have seen them go up against some heavy hitters & win more than they lose.
  11. I saw them on www.landbigfish.com Check it out.
  12. Just by their nature & personality " JERK-OFF'S " feel it gives them bragging rights." LOOK WHAT I SHOT " !!!!!!!
  13. Please be " VERY QUIET " about the MUD BUGS, I am trying to keep them a secret. They are no longer made, very hard to find other than on E BAY & I have been catching fish on them for over 30 years. Not on Table Rock though, for some reason they just don't work on Table Rock, " HONEST THEY DON'T !!!!!!! " I SWEAR THEY DON' T !!!!!!! " WASTE OF TIME PLEASE DON'T TRY THEM " !!!!!!!
  14. Maybe just me, & maybe I was just lucky & or in the right place @ the right time but I had more consistent success with the JIG for all 3 BASS species in 2013 than I did in 2012. Funny thing is I probably spent less time with it in 2013 than in 2012 but had better results.
  15. Want to see a lot of " JET SKI'S & BIG BOAT'S & THE MORONS THAT OPERATE THEM " then THE ROCK is for you. If the weather is nice the " MORONS " will still be out in December. Want a nice quiet day when you may see a dozen boat's or so & pretty much all fishing. THE BULL is for you.2 Both lakes hold good fish, Table Rock has more visible natural cover to fish if that is important to you. Bull Shoals is deeper & clearer overall & is prone to more extreme water level changes. If you called & said let's go fishing, where should we go, for the best possible overall experience we would be on Bull Shoals.
  16. Best of both worlds, ( FLUOR./MONO. ) YO-ZURI HYBRID. Depending on style of crankbait & cover, MIN. 8lb. MAX. 12lb.
  17. Can't make you any promises other than I will try. As I am not very educated @ videos I may be able to get a friend or 2 to help me. If I can figure it out I will do it.
  18. Another little trick I learned from the folks @ REBEL LURES to try on the ones that you just can't get right after aligning the line tie & don't forget the hook hangers is, use a very sharp knife ( RAZOR KNIFE WORKS WELL ) to " SHAVE THE UPPER LIP EDGE " !!!!!!! Be careful & take it slow, don't take to much material just lightly shave "THE ENTIRE UPPER EDGE " front to back. Same as you would bend the line tie, runs to the right, shave the left edge, runs to the left shave the right edge. Over the years I have found " VERY FEW " that could not be tuned using this method after all else failed. If this method won't do it, remove the hooks, add a large endless ring to the line tie & give it to a buddy as an XMASS gift. Again " SLOW & EASY " should do the trick. Take a few strokes with the knife & test it, repeat till you got it. If you go to far just shave the other side of the lip. One final tip, " DO NOT " hold the knife blade flat against the bill, hold the lure level & the knife blade on an angle so you " CHAMPFER THE UPPER EDGE " of the bill.
  19. That is not unusual, before you give up on them, did you attempt to " TUNE THEM " ?
  20. Try POINT #2 & the area around it. Fish the point itself, & both shorelines for 100 yards or so. Going one direction you will find several boat-docks that run back into the cut & sit in fairly deep water. Going the other direction you will find a fairly shallow cover barren shoreline ( LEADING INTO BEARDSLEY BRANCH ) but, move out into 20 + feet of water & you will find quite a bit of cover. Fish up shallow ( 5 to 10 feet deep ) parallel to the bank with CRAWDAD COLOR WIGGLE WARTS, out deep ( start @ 20 feet & go deeper ) with 1/2oz. - 5/8oz. football jigs again CRAWDAD COLORS: GREENPUMPKIN / PBJ / BROWN & PURPLE /GREEN & BROWN. Add a plastic CRAWDAD or TWIN-TAIL GRUB as a trailer to the jig. Remember a crawdad does not jump up 2 or 3 feet off the bottom, they move across the bottom so, drag your jig or reel it slowly across the bottom. " GOOD LUCK " !!!!!!!
  21. Either a YUM MONEY MINNOW { SMALL SWIM BAIT ) or a 3in. or 4in. SINGLE TAIL GRUB.
  22. Just a little FYI. Table Rock State Park launch ramp is open, & the campground is open. Marina ( figured it would be as it is privately operated on a 50 year lease ) is open. Appeared to be business as usual. Not sure about Moon Shine Beach.
  23. In case you didn't know, the B.A.S.S. ELITE SERIES will be coming back to " THE ROCK " April, 3rd. THRU April, 6th. I for one look forward to it.
  24. I have done it in the past & whether it was skill or dumb luck it worked. As the cable is very similar to shielded TV CABLE you may want to see if RADIO SHACK has a cable splice available. The biggest problems are making sure that the outer shield completely surrounds and protects the core or you will have a great deal of electrical interference show up on your screen, and if it is in an area where it can get wet the connection must be weather-proof. Each time I had this type of problem the break was open to the elements and had to be weather-proof so by the time I finished the repair it was big & ugly but, it worked & got me through the trips, then after the trips I replaced the cable as it was just to ugly to look at. Had I had an actual cable splice maybe the repairs would have been pretty enough to leave alone.
  25. If someone told you we are 2 feet high ( OVER NORMAL POOL ) there math is off by 3 feet. The lake is currently @ 920.7 NORMAL POOL IS: 915.0 So we are 5 feet + over normal pool ( & RISING ) not 2 feet over. The lake has risen ( & CONTINUES TO ) around 4 feet in the last few days.
