  1. fishing or working
  2. we have 2 boats of us fishing from glaize to dam so either alhonna or PB2. Hopefully have something to check in ?, been spotty for the big ones for me. One boat will fish glaize to shawnee and other from shawnee to dam is the game plan. We are all splitting any money if we are lucky enough to weigh in. Tourney can be frustrating at times finding a bank you really want to fish and there are 2 boats sitting on it ?
  3. had a buddy down to help unload about 10 brushpiles and then get a little fishing in preparing for the BBB. We ended up with 5 keepers with 2 good ones throwing bottom baits. Was surprised to see several bass boats out early on a Wednesday
  4. you better have a couple hundred piles if you are going to RULE the tournament scene and constantly putting in new ones because with today's electronics they won't be just yours for long. That means putting a lot of time on the water and hard work. Oh, you better be able to fish a little to ?
  5. 109 boats I believe, out of PB2
  6. Took jet ski ride up that way yesterday and you could walk across shad they were so thick around bear bottom resort up to Bollinger
  7. I am taking it you will be fishing shawnee bend area, there are shad moving in backs of some creeks so I would not be afraid to sling the buzzbait around for a bit. You can catch fish shallow or deep right now. As for the wave breaks you can catch some kentuckies or smaller LM on them for sure.
  8. I believe it's $330 entry on pro side plus lots of gas if you were to run up river and work milk run back which some did.

  12. even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while ?
  13. Had our day and a half club tourney this past weekend and fishing getting a little better. 1st place was won by a co-angler with 10 for 24.49, his boater finished 5th and had 4 each day for 18.54 throwing bottom baits. My co-angler handed it to me Saturday with 5 for 13.73 and I could only manage 3 for 6.77. I turned the table on him Sunday when I had 4 for 12.19 with a 5.35 kicker and he had 3 for 6.59. My co-angler ended up in 3rd place with 20.32 with me in 4th with 18.96. Caught all our fish on jigs with a good morning bite and enough bites to keep you interested throughout the day. It was finally nice to catch a big 5.35 bass to give me a little confidence for the upcoming BBB.
  14. Yet another one from this weekend parking his boat on a wave break
  15. boat ran aground Friday night in niangua arm
  16. Boater Seriously Injured In High-Speed Incident LakeExpo.com | Posted 16 hours ago LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — An Aurora, Colo. man was hospitalized on Saturday evening after a boat struck a wake while traveling at a high rate of speed, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The Patrol reported Timothy Greufe, of Parker, Colo., was driving a 1998 Formula southbound around the 31 Mile Marker of the Lake of the Ozarks, at 4:16 p.m. According to the report, Greufe was “traveling at excessive speed” when the boat hit a wake and the outdrive broke. As a result, 40-year-old Jeffrey Gaines was thrown around inside the boat and collided with another occupant. Gaines was taken by Camden County ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
  17. Yep Wrench, that's what it looked like from four rivers area all the way home to 28 mm, big rollers in all directions. Got a workout on the wave runner coming home. ? was much better Sunday by the house. I would say it was the roughest water of the year, especially up this way.
  18. took wave runner up to Shootout to check it out around 3 this afternoon, won't do that again. 3 to 4 foot rollers all the way back to 28 mm from Shootout. The wife was with me and she was scared to death. Wish I could have stopped and got picts of rollers on lake but I knew if I came off plane we were going to get soaked so took it slow and got a workout. Pict of stream of boats heading out in no wake zone for the hour I was up there and boats at the turn at 28 mm
  19. The lake is rockin and rolling today, was a constant roar heading by house going to the Shootout. Would not want to be in a bass boat out there today!
  20. well it was REAL slow till you find them, like hours without a bite and then pull up on the right bank and pop 3 or 4 in short order. Went back out this morning, same deal. Caught fish on 2 banks today. First bank a early bite with fish in 5 to 12 foot around brush, we popped 4 keepers. Fished several more banks with nothing. Pulled up to a long tapering point and caught 3 more keepers in short order in 15 to 20 foot. Lots of shad in the backs of coves already.
  21. Had a buddy down from St.L and went out yesterday for the first time in a while. While fishing was slow with beautiful weather we did manage to find one bank where we caught 4 keepers and lost 2 more keepers in short order. Ended the day with 6 keeps fishing jigs and shaky heads, fish in 10 to 20 foot range on flat next to some deep water.
  22. took 45 lb. in a 2 day tourney this past weekend with a 25 lb sack leading day 1, Sykora/Davenport ended in 2nd with 35 lb. The local boys sure know how to catchem, would take me a week to catch 45 lbs.
  23. Or maybe a pickerel
  24. the lake is real nice right now during the week although can't say how the fishing is, have not fished in 3 weeks. this weekend will be crazy with the Shootout and the Labor Day weekend and then back to the fisherman
