Is the water extremely high with the rain? I was thinking of heading up tomorrow and the last few weeks it has been great just wondering with Table Rock rising how high the river is? I appreciate the help if anyone has seen it. Thanks!

Do you think Beaver will be bad as far as wadeable water goes this Sunday? I've been up there the last 4 weekends and its been great but with the rain I don't know anymore. Any advice? Thanks!

I use the Patagonia Felt and have the new Crampon Boot. They are both sweet. The metal bar boot hooks up good but I wouldnt want to damage anyones book with it. You do sound like a cowboy walking down the boat ramp or any gravel/concrete. They don't seem to wear down the aluminum though and there not heavy. Pretty sweet.

Fly Fishing tippet? I use trout hunter 6.5x Fluoro so 3.1lb test. 6lb fluro is what I put on friends spinning reels.

Hand surgery? What kind? A singe shot cobray .410 pistol took off a good piece of my left hand and I had to have a couple surgeries. I still have all my fingers but no feeling in my pinky and parts close to it. Plus its hard as a rock now. It is kinda cool to have a gunshot wound though haha. Get better!

The ZG is the original Helios. The Helios 2 is supposedly better. Haven't used a 2 yet though. I'd check Yellowstone Anglers website for the review. Thank you Sir! I head up today after work and have a cabin rented near cow shoals. Any advice on night fishing there? I won't be getting in till about 7pm and have the whole day Sunday to fish. Thanks again buddy.

SWPA showed no generation for Friday so if it shows none for Saturday and Sunday would it be worth a try to drive 3 hours this weekend to go? I don't want to drive that far and end up with them dumping water. The lake still is high so I dunno. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I had my hopes set very high on catching one of those monster fish that I have been reading and seeing pictures of that have been caught down at Beaver lately. i.e. ( http://www.mcflyshop.com/reports/ ) I started down from Parker quite a ways and headed up stream. Weather was awfully weird and pretty warm. Wind was a little rough but not to bad. This was my biggest of the day. Not to horrible I guess, at least I managed to catch a few :-)

Thanks for taking us out! Haven't caught that many trout in my life before. You helped us out very well Sir and we surely appreciate it and are looking forward to some SmallMouth in the summer.

Well me and my girl friend got pretty bored with all the snow by about 1pm. We decided to try and make the 2 hour drive from Van Buren up to my favorite spot! Beaver's stream of course. I hope they don't decide to turn any water on on us. I might try and take some pictures on the way and while we are there if we make it. We are already by fayettville and its not too horrible. Any advice if any one sees this before we get there? Thanks

Zach, I got up there around 2:30 and fished and waited as the water went down. When I first get there I always pull down to the first stop at the boat ramp to check the water. I saw a Subaru with a boat on it and your logo on the side. Was that you? Later I was down by the bathhouses and campground and saw 2 or 3 small boats drive by. Was that you again? Later in the day I caught a couple and my lady friend pulled in a sculpin on her fly rod. A much better day than we usually have. Just wondering if that was you? If it was did you guys do ok? '
