  1. Have you tried holding down ctrl while using the scroll dial on your mouse? It will enlarge/shrink the entire page.
  2. congrats!!! It's been a winner for awhile. Well deserving pattern.
  3. I was sent a zippo case type of ashtray from Winston years ago. That I keep in my vest pocket. Normally use that big pocket on the back for larger pieces found between spots. Have recently taken to bringing the pipe to the water more often rather than just by the campfire.
  4. I think its great. And hope to see more posted. As to dry hands. 1. It was raining 2. They were stripping streamers. Get a clue dude.
  5. http://www.bennettspringstatepark.com/ Apparently it's not a problem If you use Mr. Rodgers services. I personally think that limiting ones ability to use there talents to help others be successful fishing or hunting. And earn money doing it to help support their family is wrong.
  6. I have seen guides at Bennett Spring. Guess they are different then?
  7. But apparently it is illegal to be paid for any guided hunts of anything on any MDC managed property in Missouri.
  8. 3 CSR 10-11.110 General Provisions: . . (7) Guiding for pay is prohibited on department areas. Just found this will read more later.
  9. http://www.news-leader.com/article/2009050...+guilty+to+hunt Thought these were a pest. Seems like lots of other public areas (waterways)are legal to guide on or in. Article is missing much need valuable info. What say the members here? Anyone know anymore?
  10. If I could just find those darn keys?
  11. It is pretty neat. Eagle chicks boot out there other nest mates right?
  12. Before Clean-up: Air Out the Room Have people and pets leave the room, and don't let anyone walk through the breakage area on their way out. Open a window and leave the room for 15 minutes or more. Shut off the central forced-air heating/air conditioning system, if you have one. Carefully scoop up glass pieces and powder using stiff paper or cardboard and place them in a glass jar with metal lid (such as a canning jar) or in a sealed plastic bag. Use sticky tape, such as duct tape, to pick up any remaining small glass fragments and powder. Wipe the area clean with damp paper towels or disposable wet wipes. Place towels in the glass jar or plastic bag. Do not use a vacuum or broom to clean up the broken bulb on hard surfaces. Carefully pick up glass fragments and place them in a glass jar with metal lid (such as a canning jar) or in a sealed plastic bag. Use sticky tape, such as duct tape, to pick up any remaining small glass fragments and powder. If vacuuming is needed after all visible materials are removed, vacuum the area where the bulb was broken. Remove the vacuum bag (or empty and wipe the canister), and put the bag or vacuum debris in a sealed plastic bag. If clothing or bedding materials come in direct contact with broken glass or mercury-containing powder from inside the bulb that may stick to the fabric, the clothing or bedding should be thrown away. Do not wash such clothing or bedding because mercury fragments in the clothing may contaminate the machine and/or pollute sewage. You can, however, wash clothing or other materials that have been exposed to the mercury vapor from a broken CFL, such as the clothing you are wearing when you cleaned up the broken CFL, as long as that clothing has not come into direct contact with the materials from the broken bulb. If shoes come into direct contact with broken glass or mercury-containing powder from the bulb, wipe them off with damp paper towels or disposable wet wipes. Place the towels or wipes in a glass jar or plastic bag for disposal. Disposal of Clean-up Materials [*]Immediately place all clean-up materials outdoors in a trash container or protected area for the next normal trash pickup. [*] Wash your hands after disposing of the jars or plastic bags containing clean-up materials. [*] Check with your local or state government about disposal requirements in your specific area. Some states do not allow such trash disposal. Instead, they require that broken and unbroken mercury-containing bulbs be taken to a local recycling center. Future Cleaning of Carpeting or Rug: Air Out the Room During and After Vacuuming [*] The next several times you vacuum, shut off the central forced-air heating/air conditioning system and open a window before vacuuming. [*] Keep the central heating/air conditioning system shut off and the window open for at least 15 minutes after vacuuming is completed. http://www.epa.gov/hg/spills/#fluorescent ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will continue to use the old fashioned bulbs that are made in Kentucky and I can vacuum straight up vs. the new Green ones made in China that require a Hazmat operation. Until those are banned or regulated away for the good of the planet.
  13. Aye Cricket my condolences on the loss of a good friend and mentor. You had mentioned to me your fondness and respect for for him before. After those we admirer most pass on. Their lessons taught and good times shared can be passed on to others which in away keeps them with us for many years to come. But then its obvious by your post That you this very well. Thanks for help awakening a few memories of my Grandpa. JJ
  14. Doesn't lead come from the ground?
  15. Yes I have and do.
  16. I have used the aluminum white river boxes with the windowed compartments for several years, and to be honest I have recently decided that there is better options. If you drop them the spring loaded lids all pop open and launch there contents everywhere. Or the largest sized one is to shallow on the lid side to be any good for streamers. I was given a Scientific Anglers Nymph box for Christmas this year and its much better. Going to get a bugger box or something like that next. Only problem is these newer boxes require bigger pockets than my old vest has. If my old vest wasn't ten years old and begging for a trip to the trash can. That would actually be a bigger problem than it really is.
  17. If the fisheries management saw this a head of time they should have cut some of the urban lakes stocking. If they allready did that then guess less park fishing=more people in the rivers and wild streams then.
  18. For "The One" who "Hopes" to catch fish for a "Change."
  19. You deserve better than food coloring!!!
  20. Is gonna be a sad day. OAF was great while it lasted.
  21. That men is what I call A....... attitude.
  22. 9mm is still the white buffalo in ammo and in firearms, very hard to find for consumers and to keep up with demand by suppliers. I shoot a lot of .45 its getting easier to find but no cheaper to buy.
  23. Your welcome I am of the mind that the Second Amendment you know the one that defends every other part of the Bill of Rights and Constitution had it right and meant exactly as it was written. You know the "Shall not be infringed part." If ya ever want to get "hip" and are near the Lou send me a PM. I'll try and find the time to take you out and let ya shoot some real Homeland Security .
  24. Open carry is limited by every little city or town council that wishes to disallow it. Leaving a patch work of laws from one block to the next in the cities (st. Louis has complete prohibition of open carry)of Missouri they are the very places where one is IMHO at greatest risk.
