  1. Good afternoon all, I'm trying to find out recent water temps as well as water clarity in general on the lake. Planning a trip up Friday this week to try to catch some bass. Thanks in advance for any info you may have!
  2. Mike Webb..got it. It's weird how the internet works better when you search the right name. This is what I was looking for thank you for your time.
  3. Anybody fishing 🎏 the Mark Webb toruney this weekend? Just curious. Trying to find a website but can't really. Looking for details please
  4. Thank you very much for the info WW!
  5. Curious if anyone would be willing to divulge current clarity around the dam, osage, midlake, glaize areas? Thanks in advance for any info.
  6. Thanks for the reply! Probably just hit up lead hill and run a bit then.. Surely that's launch able.. But haven't seen it with lake 25' high
  7. Curious how the ramp looks at CCC.. I know the lake is still up and haven't fished bull for a couple / few months. Thanks for any info
  8. Thanks all.. I ended up putting in at the BS darn campground both days. Luckily there wasn't much traffic at all so no problem parking. Fished Jimmie and Howard and caught fish day and night. Most fish Tuesday were on 3/8oz purple Shad war eagle. Caught a couple nice fish that night on black and blue single spin .. Water was pretty darn lo clear in those areas. Little to no debris but still be careful. Put in Wed right at noon, there was a slight hint more color and even some stain where wind was wreaking havoc on the shorelines. Caught some very nice keeper LM sitting in 25-30 fow throwing the purple Shad as well as an underspin with 3.8 Electric Shad on it. SLOOOOW rolling both as much as the brush allowed. Lost 3 super nice LM on the same baits. They all jumped and shook off. Fish are definitely much more aggressive fighters in these water Temps. Around 3pm that bite died and I started picking up a couple fish on a green pumpkin /red Jig sitting in the same water, casting the same places. For a minute there on Wednesday I thought it was going to be one of those days of a lifetime but it fizzled out fast. Fished about 17-18 hours total in a 24 hour period so headed back home Wed night worn out! Really like the area and will definitely be fishing it more. Amazing how clear it was down there Vs. much of the lake.
  9. En route now.. Just gonna drive down two hours and see if there's any place to launch I guess
  10. Fished the afternoon until around 6pm..Put in at Mill at noonish and ran to Moo-moo. Was kinda crazy going under the bridge with only a few feet clearance! Once in the main creek arm I went to the very back of every feeder and cove and fished out on the channel sides. Boat in 20-30 fow. Sometimes I'd cast parallel and sometimes in towards the bank. If there was a lane in the trees that allowed you to cast all the way to the bank they were on it. Basically all Jig fish, biggest was a 3.13 LM and next was a 2.14 spot. Rounded out my 4 keepers with a couple identical SM. I Caught one spot on a blade in the wind on the outer edge of treeline. Unfortunately the wind didn't really blow much. Think I counted 15-17 fish total. Water is stained but definitely much clearer than it was last Sunday! Good luck.
  11. Good evening! Headed down to fish Tuesday - Thursday and wanted to see what if any ramps are open near the darn. Is the water still chocolate milk everywhere?? Thanks for any info. Thanks!
  12. If it's heavy log jams and all that I'll wait. Are there any areas on TR that are consistently the least impacted by heavy floods (chocolate milk, logs, hazards etc....) Or maybe areas that generally recover the most quickly from floods? Imagine being a pro on Beaver tomorrow having to fish the FLW tourney for a living.
  13. Just curious how it looks up around Shell Knob after last week's rain has settled... I went last Sunday and it was high and tough fishing but water was only "stained" around big Creek /mill creek areas. I'm also looking to get out Sunday after this upcoming round of water and looking for any thoughts advice on what condition will more than likely be if we get the rain that is currently forecasted. Thanks in advance for your time!

  15. Not sure what your boat is but I just had to do this to my 92 champion..there is a removable floor under the batteries most times...I was able (by a miracle) to get inside the compartment and reach back under the fuel tank to get it all replaced. TOTAL pain. You can also get to the bilge easily if you do have this removable floor and they pretty cheap and just a few connections. I found out mine was bad in the middle of nowhere on BS about a month ago. Luckily my bilge works but I had water up over the batteries before I looked back and noticed it!!! Fun times!!
  16. Put in around noon yesterday, fished Aunts or close to it for a few hours Water temps got up around 57. Water slightly stained. Got rained on a very little bit later in the day. I tried to fish a variety of locations but the snot was bad and definitely had me struggling to figure them out. Over near Shell knob the moss is only out to about 5 fow and then clears up. I unfortunately thought it might be similar all over. I threw the blade a few times with no luck... I caught one spot on a single 3.8 with a 1/4 jig head on a secondary but had my most consistent luck putting the boat in 20-25 fow and throwing an okeechobee craw parallel to steeper banks. Caught a couple more shorts and one 3.4 large doing this, but it was time to head home right when I started getting into the rhythm. Tough days will happen, hopefully I got it out of the way for a while!!
  17. I really like the Rapala Suspended Husky Jerk. (size 10, 4") Gets down around 6-7'. When suspended, they're perfectly balanced nose to tail and hold their exact depth. Lots of "stock" colors to choose from, very durable and VERY reasonably priced.
  18. Put in somewhere that I won't mention and fished a variety of locations. Species: Large and Smallmouth Bass Two words: Wiggle Wart (various colors worked) Caught one or two on spinner and shakey as well but those were in very specific locations whereas the Wart worked in all areas we fished. Wind was nuts, had the TM popping out of the water all day, but overall a solid trip. Caught about 15-17 total with 7 or 8 keeps (fished three total banks)
  19. Hey all, What are the whites biting on this time of year? Sliders? Small spinners and cranks? Small lipless perhaps? I usually kill them in the early spring on an a-rig.. But haven't ever really shot for them in late Fall. Thanks for any suggestions!! Charlie
  20. We need to start a co-op rod and reel manufacturing label and sell out here in a few years so we can all retire and fish all day.
  21. Not to hijack the post, but is anyone throwing a lipless this fall?
  22. I heard they're tearing it up on weightless rigged bubblegum flukes right now. 40 fow Good luck guys.
  23. Thanks Rob..I almost tied on a square but went with a wart instead... I'll re-tie the ole' bandit rootbeer and roll with it.
  24. Good morning all! Headed down from Springpatch to fish a small night tourney this evening. (tucker hollow) I was wondering if there were any recommendations on a specific bait that may be working best. We launch at 7P and I am planning on topwater until dark then go single spin and big worm with some salt craws and jigs mixed in, maybe even a little buzz bait here and there. Thanks in advance for any advice you may have for me!
