  1. That's what she said
  2. Thanks Bearfisher10, I'll definitely have to give them both their fair share of time in the water. I haven't been out in over a month and thought the wart might have slowed way down. Blades and warts are my two favorite bites!!!
  3. I've seen the recent reports and plan on throwing jig, fluke, topwater and grub or swimbait primarily.. (Lil ned here and there) If anyone else would like to chime in on baits or suggestions for this area it would be most appreciated. I'm thinking pbj on jigs and ned green pumpkin or pearl fluke .. Monkey butt on top and some smoke pepper or pro blue on the grub/swimbait rig.
  4. Thank you much Brett. It looks like it's sposed to rain quite a bit between now and then so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully I'll be able to post a good report Saturday night!
  5. Good evening all, I get the opportunity to come fish Table Rock this coming Friday and Saturday. Will be staying near Campbell Point. It looks like Big Creek will be my focus and I'm curious if anyone knows current water clarity in that vicinity? I've only fished Indian Point and Aunts Creek areas before so this will be a new locale for me. Thanks in advance for any info you may be able to share!
  6. Appreciate it man!!
  7. Does anyone by chance have the water clarity/temperature stats for Stockton right now? Coming up Saturday to fish for the day.. Thanks in advance guys for any info.
  8. Sandbc...trust me..don't worry about it. You are going to catch some of the biggest slabs of your life. PMA! Gungho
  9. Ready to load some toads

  11. Well I would say that evaporation would have to play some part in these projections. On the other hand they do not seem to consider possible additional rainfall coming in. IDK
  12. Good morning all...looking for a little info if available. We are coming down Saturday to fish and I am trying to find out what launches are usable. I have heard Pigeon is a no go and someone told me to try Cranfield. Be nice to know for sure before heading that way from Diamond City. I have called all the marinas and cant get a hold of anyone (which is understandable) Anyways, any info you may have would be great.
  13. Very nice post..thanks. Coming to put in @ Pigeon on Sat...well thats the plan. Are the ramps usable?
  14. hahaha! that's good.
  15. What color did the trick? I really like the Ghost Tenn Shad...I only wish they weren't $15 a pop.
  16. Yeah I agree...also some folks will change out just the front with a #6 and replace the #4 on the rear with the same size, just better quality hooks. As for our weekend, we came off the water around 1230 on Saturday due to the conditions. We were very discouraged because all these great weights were coming in and we had only boated one short on a wart the whole morning. (fishing around the Indian Point area) Came back down Sunday morning and caught about a 3 pound white right off the bat on a 1/4oz scrounger with a white fluke. Man, when I hooked that bad boy I was screaming "Get the Net!!" only to see it was a white. Moved on out Indian towards the main lake and caught a 3 pound smallie on a 3/8 chompers green pumpkin football jig with craw trailer. That felt VERY good. Not too long after I hooked up with a nice fat KY on the same rig but she was only around 2.5. Fished that jig the rest of the day basically with a wart here and there with no further luck. We thought about making a run to weigh in right after that but didn't and then found out the 11-12 hour had 3 fish in the middle 2 range and I would have won $300. (as I am sure many other people are kicking themselves for) Oh well, after a full day plus half the 2nd day of every weigh in but one needing over 3 pounds to get any money I just never even gave it a second thought. We did run over to see the final 2 weigh ins and hold out hope for a miracle but that was cut short very quickly once the fish started rolling in. Congrats to the winner...He actually came over to us at the weigh in and spoke to us for a second. Said he had that big beast in his live well for a couple of hours and had heard the leading weight was 6.6 or whatever and thought to himself. "Well, I guess I better weight that one I got." Said he broke out his scales and saw that 8.70 and he was so taken aback that he stepped back into his livewell and nearly fell. Sounded hilarious. Can you imagine if he had dropped that fish or fell in the lake, or BOTH? Anyways, I will say it was quite an experience and I can't wait to come back to TR in April when hopefully it'll be a lil warmer. It's gonna be awesome.
  17. Just curious if the hourly weigh in prizes have been set....I see on the website it shows $500, $400, $300 and so on based on 250 entrie...do we have more than that?

  18. Oh yeah there are trout all through there. From the dam at Table Rock to the dam at Powersite there are trout througout. You can fish your big boat out of Taneycomo if you want to..I see big pontoon boats and the like in there all the time during the summer.

    Mike Anderson

Awesome..we'll take him for sure...a former alum that played on the team that brought the only National Championship to U of A ever... uh, winning, duh! Well take 23-11 over 18-13 any ole year on the schedule. This guy is made in the mold of Richardson and will be coming home to Fayetteville to win! (on a side note...I would have been happy with Cuanzo as well)
  20. Yeah but if we reduce that then the population of Brown Trout would be damaged severly.....
  21. 9.81 mark it down, lock it in
  22. I'd have to add the ole' Gene Lawrew 8" hooktail worm in Red Flake and also the salt craw in black with blue tips. Salt Craw especially for night fishing when the days get too darn hot. Either one of these baits on a 3/0 or 4/0 with a 3/8 bullet. Also love a good Chompers 5" Twin Tail Hula Grub in nearly any color, but if I had to pick one I'd say Green Pumpkin. Rigged up with a 1/4oz weedless (single wire) stand up jig. Kentucky's especially seem to love this rig.
  23. I'd say Goggle eye too,but I don't know about long teeth...they don't have any teeth.
  24. OHHHH you jerk...I was reading that thinking "WHAT?...Where in the heck is this guy getting those kinds of temps!!" lol... So is it pre, middle, or post spawn or what there?
  25. On a side note I hear from some Forsythians that Slough Hollow is already getting some action
