Went out after 11am yesterday. Caught them all shallow. Only had 4 keepers, but the 4 weighed 14 pounds. Bite died at 2pm.

What color grubs are working best?

I was in a Edward Jones tourney and fished around hurricane MM32. It was miserable weather and we did not do well. However 22.5#'s was weighed in, the said they ran 30+ miles up the osage to MM65 or so. They cought thiers on spinnerbaits and square bills. Good luck, looks like this weekend will be as rough as last weekend.

anyone that fished for bass today please respond: We will be coming down early tomorrow for a fun weekend. I can go 15 miles from mile marker 32. We want to catch bass. I am a little concerned with the rain and cold front. Please give advise on what worked today. Thanks,
-
Will be heading down Thursday. Keep the advise coming. I know that the conditions have changed alot lately. If anyone know if they are spawning yet, on secondary points, or main lake points. What is the color of the lake. I thought it may be very stained due to all of the rain. Thanks, David

I will be coming down in one week with my brother for 3 days of bass fishing. We will be staying near the main lake and start of the Niangua. Would like to know where you would fish and what you would fish with. It has been a long while since I have fished for bass on LOZ. Much appreciated.

Thanks for all the help. Will be down Thursday through Sunday.

Not saying the Banjo was not a scam. I was down at TR and we were on a cold front and could not get the bass to bite. Over the next 3 days I used everyone of my white, smoke, and green banjo's. Caught a ton of fish. you never know.

You have asked a few questions. I would say that we would be willing to fish 7 miles from Joe bald. This would include the white, james and kings arms. I have a fiberglass bass boat with a 175 motor. I have sonar with gps for electronics. Me and my kids fish for bass exclusively. I generally give them a crank bait and that satisfies them. I would rather them catch many even if they are not of legal leangth. I would prefer to catch a few big ones. Hope this helps. Thanks

I will be coming down with family in 2 1/2 weeks for the weekend. My guess is it will be very tough fishing. We only bass fish and will be willing to fish the middle part of the lake. Any help would be great! Thanks

What Color Line Do You Guys Use For Largemouth
3inonegod replied to jlinmo226068's topic in Table Rock Lake
I have had very good success with Berkley's Fluro. I just bought 4 spools at Wmart for 10-11 a spool, at BPS and Cabela's they have raised the price to 15-17/spool this year. Berkley has a mail in rebate right now. On the $45 I just spent I will get $15 back for a mail in rebate. That is only 7.50/spool. I have used 10# for my baitcasters and 6# for my spinning reels. I always check for freys and never have had a fish break off. I have caught up to 5# smallies and 7# large mouth. I also have Suffix Mono for my top water. I use #14, and just bought a 600 yard spool at the BPS special for $5. I also have a baitcaster with braid for flipping dock or for top water. Sometimes I will use the braid for a Carolina rig. Hope this helps -
Beleive it or not I bought a abu revo around Christmas and took it out once. The gears sounded horrible and I back lashed it 3 times. I have always used Johnny Mo's and can fish one of them all day w/o a back lash. I got each of his top of the line reels for about $100. The revo was much lighter but I did not like it. I bought the skeete reece because I have a place at the lake of the ozarks and will be using much larger line with it. The above list was for what I would use at the Rock. At the Rock would you use thicker line for flipping docks? Thanks, David

I have my set up ready for spring. I have 6 rods. Most are the Skeete Reece rods. I decided to go with his flippin/pitchen rod. It is a 8' rod with regular (not micro) guides. Baitcasters: Skeete Reece top water with Johnny Morris 6.4 (14# mono) Skeete Reece crankbait with Johnny Morris 7.1 (10# fluro) Skeete Reece Flippin/pitchin with Johnny Morris 7.1 (10# fluro) Falcon Eaking Jig with Johnny morris 7.1 (10# fluro) Spinning 2 Skeete Reece shaky head with shamano reels (6# fluro) I will be down 4/12-4/15 with my brother and may ask for specific at that time. I have a serious case of cabin fever. Thanks all for your input...

I have a nice bank account, so as long as the wife goes along with it, I should be good. I am just looking for a rod. I am planning on going when Bass Pro has thier spring sale wich starts next friday. Please give me you best $100-$200 rod and best over $200 rod (just in case the wife puts her foot down). Thanks, David

I will be buying a flipping rod next week at bass pro. Please give me any suggestions on which one to buy. Thanks, David

I am wanting to let you all know that I purchased the Abu MGX 7.9/1. I will be using it in clear water and have put it on a Falcon Eakins Jig Special. I may buy a Skeet pitching rod in the spring. Thanks for all your input. David

I may have said flipping. I meant pitching/flipping reel. My concern is backlashing with the pitching. I would also like each of you to let me know not only the rod but the reel you would recomend. Thanks, David

I recieved about $600 in BassPro certificates for Christmas. So whatever I buy I will get from there. I am a bass fisherman and recently bought a place at LOZ. I am hoping that some of the guides will give me some advise here. If you are not a guide but fish ALOT please give me your input. I am wanting to get a flipping set up. Rod and reel. I am considering getting the shimano with the chip in it. I just want to get the best bang for the buck. Please give me your best two options: One that the cost does not matter. One that you are getting the best bang for the buck. I fish apoxamately 40 days per year. Currently I use skeete Reese rods with Johnny morris reels. Thanks in advance, David

I just recently purchase on the 13 mile marker on the big niangua. If someone could give a discription on the technique, depth, bait used to catch crappie it would appreciate it. Thanks, David

I have been bass fishing for about 7 years. I used braid for some applications and read that a polimar knot is the way to tie to braid. Since I only tie a polimar knot for all knots. I have caught a 9#, 7# and 6# large mouth on fluro with 6# test. The polimar has never failed me.

I will coming down with my brother in the next 2 weeks. I am guessing fishing has been tough, due to the lack of the fishing reports. Any help would be great. Thanks
