  1. Thanks for the reply guys.I did'nt find any walleyes till wed. afternoon. I fished the points and creek channels with no luck, 20 t0 30 feet deep.Wed. afternoon about 1o'clock we found some jigging Bink's spoon( Thank's again Dan Hufferd.) I quess I'll have to forget all I thought I knew about Walleye's as we were finding them in 5 to 10 feet of water. Got four keepers a few shorts .The largest 26 inches. (pictures to follow) We caught 4 this morning with 2 keepers. All on 1/4 ounce binks. The 26 in. was in 4 feet of water at 1:30 in the afternoon. So with the Lords blessing and Dan Huffords especially and others help I'm pretty happy Pics later,Thanks Mike

  3. I'll be in church tomm. also. Planning on going monday and spending 3 or 4 days .debating on going to Norfork or Stockton.Having a hard time figuring out the walleye on Stockton. Would it be too much to ask what area of the Lake you were fishing dan hufferd ,through his posts has me hooked on the Binks spoons. I'll probably stay at ruark's Bluff. Thanks for any info. Mike

  8. jimithyashford, I try to go at least once a week. You're more than welcome to come with me and I'll get you started. If you don't have fly gear you can use some of mine. It's really not too hard once you see how it's set up. Don't let the holier than thou types get to you, there's some good people on here and then there are some that are not.I've completely quit fishing Tanneycomo for that very reason.I've got nerve damage in my back and can't stand for very long and fish. When I found the outlets I felt blessed, I could sit on the rocks and fish for hours. There was a post on here about shufflers that degenerated to include anybody that fishes the outlets.I hope anybody new to the sport never see's that thread. Anyway, message me and we'll get together on the phone and set something up if you like.I won't even be mad when you catch more than me Mike

  11. I called Sunburst and Talked to Amy. No wonder Sunburst comes so highly recommended . What a nice person, she answered all my questions and before I hung up I felt like I was talking to an old friend. Now I'm really fired up to get that canoe done. Thanks again,Mike

  13. My Grandson and I are just about done refurbishing (replacing all the wood and glassing some bad spots) canoe that I've had for over 40 years.I'm wanting to float the North fork with him with fishing being our main goal.I got him started fly fishing a couple years ago and he's hooked. Guess I've ruined another one.I want to pass on the joys of floating rivers while I still can. I'll be giving him this canoe shortly. Any way I'm looking for some one to shuttle me back to the canoe,I'm thinking drop the canoe and grandson off and drive to a take out point and get a ride back upstream.(not looking for a freebie here) Thanks and appreciate any help. Mike
