  1. I didn't see that boat today. Were you in the Big or Little Sac?
  2. Hooked you might PM Hunter91. He seems to be able to catch quite a few walleye.
  3. Wallichaser what kind of boat are you using. I saw several in the Big Sac today but couldn't say howdy cause there were too many choices. I went to Old State Park. I did pretty good on bass today.
  4. I may go tomorrow. What part of the lake will you be going to?
  5. The ups and downs haven't made much difference to me. The fish have been in the same place for several weeks. They just move in and out depending on the sunshine and wind.
  6. Still didn't go. Don't like that electricity in the air not to mention being wet. Maybe next week sometime.
  7. If we don't have those storms again, I'll prolly get out tommorrow morning.
  8. I got the rig back in action but the storms kept me home today. If the weather brakes, I may try tomorrow. How deep were the walleye?
  9. I'm wanting to go after Sandies or Blacks but the boat is down.
  10. No local zonining and planning. That is why a few years ago they had to close a bunch of swimming areas on Beaver Lake, too much chicken poop in the water.
  11. Table Rock State Park after the holiday weekend
  12. We used to dove hunt a lot but all the farmers quit putting out grain crops and went to grass so I quit because they aren't that good to eat (unless you like the taste of liver).
  13. Yes sir. I just looked on the net and found it is up 4 1/2' since the big rains Sat. night. I hope it doesn't get too high. I want to go down there and fish in a couple of days.
  14. I saw on the news about all the rain at Hall Town, Miller, and other areas which drain into the Stockton water shed. They said the Sac Rivers were 15-25' above normal. Does anyone know what has happened to the Stockton level. Last time I looked it was 868.38.
  15. I thought you wanted to know which turkey feathers to use for arrow fletching.
  16. Don't know if it would interest you but in the Penny Power there was an opening in a fly shop advertised.
  17. I see now as a good time to fish. Last time I was there I only saw 3 boats and none of them were ride arounders. The campgrounds were nearly empty too. You gotta love it when the tourists are gone even if it is hot.
  18. You can use it if you pay attention. I have done it with $89 units. It is a lot easier to do with the 480x480 but you still can do it.
  19. Largemouth virus. And something quite similar to it hit Bull Shoals in 2002. It killed a fishery that had been going since the mid 50s. There were thousands of white bass caught from K Dock to the Powersite Dam each winter and spring. As of the spring of 2003 they were all but gone. While the Table Rock fishery had done a good job of recovery, the Bull Shoals has not and doesn't seem to be going to in the near future.
  20. Would that be upstream or downstream, points, flats, coves, timber, bluffs ??? That's a lot of area down there.
  21. I don't fly fish but I do sharpen a lot of hooks. I have a handy little gizmo (EzeLap) which came from Fin and Feather in Spfd. http://www.ztackle.com/products.asp?cat=302
  22. With the proper hitch you should be able to pull somewhere around a 30' with no problem. I pulled a mid 20s for years with a 1/2 ton 350. The farthest I pulled it was on a 500 mile trip with no problems. It weighed around 3500 lbs empty. You probably should check your manual and see what the pulling capacity and load capacity is. It will probably drop your bumper by 6" or more. If you get a trailer with slides you will greatly increase the load.
  23. What type of tow vehicle do you have? Are you looking for a bumper hitch or a 5th wheeler?
  24. I'd call some dealers and get some prices ON NEW ONES. The prices will vary quite a bit.

I guess you can learn something every day. When I cook steak it is only for 10 minutes to get medium.
