  3. Comes with knife, 2 used batteries, charger and cord, and a 12” blade. The knife is free all you have to do is pay the shipping.

  5. As of 2 pm today 916.64.
  6. I don’t think a regular salesperson would think that way. Irrespective of what Wrench can do, I doubt that Oneshot has those kinds of skills. If he does then Wrench might hire him.
  7. This week’s Stone County Republican news paper has an article about the bridges at Kimberling City and at Shell Knob. They are going to be washed at a nominal cost of $247,219.50. Maybe I need to buy a power washer.
  8. That’s easy to solve. A citation and fine would cure that and word would get around.
  9. I was at Cape Fair yesterday. It was chocolate brown.
  10. It shows as of 11:30 am 843.80. I think pool is 838. So I guess about 7’ up.
  11. I haven’t left the property but have heard of all kinds of flooding. Main Street north out of town is closed. We’ve had 5.7” so far here and more to come. Thats more than we have had this year before this.
  12. So far we have had 4.2” and it is still raining.
  13. I’d like to see 3 but no more we have had 3 hundred year floods at the farm in the last few years. One of them took out over a mile of fence along the creek.
  14. Where are you located? I doubt we have had more than half an inch so far.
  15. Most of the bass that I catch on Table Rock are spots. I don’t know if it’s because they have taken over the water or if it’s because the largemouth are reduced due to the overwhelming number of tournaments. I like to catch bigger fish so if that would increase the largemouth then I would be for it. If all it would do is provide more small spots to catch then forget it. They changed the limit on Stockton and I have seen no change. We rarely catch one down there. Does MDC have information on what % of the fishermen keep and eat bass?
  16. Jeff and I met at sun up today. It was cloudy and 41° with no wind. One boat launched ahead of us. We fished down to Cedar Hollow. Before we left the first stop the north wind came up and blew all morning. It wasn’t white capping but close. Several of the places that I wanted to fish were too fish were too windy for bottom contact baits. We used swim baits, jigs, Ned rigs and shaky heads. We wound up with 8-10 bass caught on a variety of places with no apparent pattern. Jeff had a couple of nice keepers on swim baits. It stayed cloudy all day and it was bone chilling cold. We only saw 3 other boats today and they were close to Cape on the way back. The water was 56° most every where we went. Maybe the upcoming rain will turn things around.
  17. Cape Fair 56° today.
  18. A 50/50 mixture of remedy and diesel.
  19. That sounds like our day. We fished from 8-2 and had 10 with 2 keepers. All on plastic. They were 10-15’ deep. When the wind started howling we threw cranks but got no takers. I had a 3.5# lmb that looked about ready to spawn. The water was 56-60°.
  20. I have a St. Croix Premier 7’ mf spinning rod that I don’t use much. I would like to trade it for a comparable rod mlf. Or I might sell it.
  21. It was a beautiful day weather wise and fish wise. I started out losing my first 5 fish (3 on a jigging rap in 30 fow). I didn’t think I would ever get to say “net please” but it finally happened a couple of times. It was my best day so far this year. Thanks for the trip buddy.
  22. Some of my relatives in OK raised sheep. They put greyhounds in the back of a pickup with a couple of guys. They drove the fields until they spotted a coyote. Then they would take after them with the truck. When they caught up the guys in the back would throw the dogs out. They would hit the ground, roll over a few times then run the coyote down.
  23. Yes it is. I remember all of those young guys out on the parade ground when we went to our grandson’s graduation from officers candidate school in Quantico. It was quite a sight.
